Chapter eight

Y/n pov

After calming Down and getting back to the restaurant I decided to go back to auradon, and spent the rest of the day there, since I hadn't spent so much time there lately

"Leaving already?" Uma said, and sat down on a chair

"Yeah, I have some school work, and if fairygodmother finds out I have been missing the last few days, she's going to ask questions I can't answer" I said and swung my bag over my shoulder

"Well I'll see you around" I said and made my way to the door before stopping and looking over shoulder and adding

"But maybe you won't see me" I smirked looking at Harry who was smirking at me, before I continued out and walking to the barrier, before making my way back

When I got to the grounds of the school I started to walk to my room on foot when my phone buzzed

I took it out of my pocket and looked at the screen

Hey y/n
I was wondering if you'd like to hang out tomorrow, Mal is going on a date with Ben and the boys have practice

I stopped up and looked at my phone for a second confused before answering

Hey Evie
I'd love to, I'd also love to know how you got my number hahah

I pressed send and put my phone back in my pocket and started walking again when I voice I was afraid of hearing called my name

"Miss Y/n" I sighed and looked to the side and saw the fairy godmother walking towards me, I put on my famous wide smile

"Yes fairy godmother?" I said and she stopped infront of me

"Mind if I asked where you've been, I heard from some of the teachers, you have been absent yesterday and Today from class, is everything alright?" She asked with her hands infront of her stomach with a concerned look on her face

"I just had a familiy emergency, you see my Onkel" I started

"The hatter?" She asked, and I nodded

"You see the hatter, my Onkel, had a bit off a problem, because he had gone mad again" I said proud of my lie, and she looked at me confused

"So the mad hatter, had a problem because he had gone mad?" She said, to her it sounded weird, but to me, growing up in wonderland it made perfect sense

She stood for a moment, taking it in, when she sighed

"Well I hope he's better now, and if I were you, I'd go catch up on work" I nodded and started to walk away but not before hearing fairy godmother mumble to herself

"Wonder people, I never quite got them" I smiled and made my way to my room

When I stepped trough the door, I stopped dead up and saw a big mess, and an aurdrey laying in her bed crying, i held my breath and slowly closed the door behind me, before putting my bag down as quietly as I could, I didn't want to be involved with her break down, but as soon as my bag hit the floor, my phone buzzed again

Audrey turned around her head and saw me, as I pulled up my phone

"Hey y/n..." she sniffed as I looked down on my phone opening the message I just got

"Hey" I said without looking up and sat down on my bed reading
