Everyone except evie and mal stood with there jaw to the ground as M stood with his arm around my shoulder
"What are you doing here?" I asked as I looked up at him with a smile, forgetting the pain I was in only moments before
His face suddenly turned serious as his arm dropped from my shoulder, and he moved to standing in front of me
"It's your father" he said, and I froze, no.. He couldn't possible
"Is he.." I started, as tear drops form in my eyes,
"No. at least not yet, but he have gotten worse, he told me to go find you, afraid you would have felt something" he said, and I pulled my hand on my stomach, and looked down with wide eyes
"I can feel my father dying.." my voice was cracking and my hand was shaking
"It's going to be okay" evie tried calming me down, but I was far past the point of being calmed down, she reached out with her hand and I took a step back, making her stop dead in he tracks, I looked around, and saw everybody looking at me
My eyes locked with Harry's, I could see the jealousy, had turned to concern, as he looked straight into my eyes and in that moment I knew I needed to get out of there.
I turned around and ran, not bothering trying to fly, afraid I would just come crashing down. The others ran after me, I could hear Evie yelling and Harry also, but I didn't have time to explain anything, I just ran, heading straight towards the border to the isle
After running for almost an hour I was back to hades hidout, I didn't waste anytime, walking straight in and towards hades living room
"Hades!" I yelled as I stepped in, but there was no answer "I know you're in here... somewhere" I said as I started to look around, it was really nice, considering it was on the isle, I walked to his chair, when I noticed a small frame on his side table, I picked it up and wiped the dust away, it was a picture of hades... and my dad.
"Well well, look what the cat brought in" a voice said and I turned around and saw hades standing with a cup in hand
"What's up with people and those cat puns" I asked crossing my arms over my chest, hades chuckled
"You can say it's some what, an old habit of mine" he started to walk towards me "now tell me, y/n what can I help you with" I froze, how did he know who I was
"Stop giving me that look, I was basically at your birth, but you know that, don't you? That's why you're here" hades said and sat down in his chair, and took a sip of his cup, I decided to push all my questions aside, and get straight to the point
"My father is dying" I said, and this time it was hades who froze with the cup between his lips, he stayed like that for a little bit before sighing and putting the cup down
"I told him this would happen" he intertwined his fingers
"What would happen?" I asked, and hades looked up at me
"Half a soul, half a life" he simple said
"Can't you do anything?" I asked and kneeled down beside him, hades looked at away, probably thinking before looking back at me
"Yes, I could, but I'm missing two things" he said and stood up, and I followed
"What is it?! I'll bring it to you" I said, and he smiled placing his hand on my shoulder
"You truly are your father's daughter" he said, and I could feel the words scratching at my heart, I was his daughter and he was my father, always was and always would be. Hades let go of my shoulder before turning and walking to a small cabinet
"I need my stone, the one my daughter to with her to Auradon" he said as he shuffled through things on the shelf
"This is going to be easy, I know were they are" I said and smiled to myself
"What about the other thing?" I asked and hades looked over his shoulder at me
"How much are you willing to give for your father's life?" He asked, and the atmosphere suddenly changed in the room, but I didn't need any time to answer, I would give the same, he had giving to keep me safe
"Everything" I said and hades sighed,
and turned around, holding a small bottle in his hand, it had a blue liquid in it and some weird text on the front I didn't understand, but one thing I did understand, was the skull on the label "secondly, I need the other half of his soul to give back to him"
