Chapter thirty one

After the whole event on the isle, finding out my father was right about the villains, that Harry really was a piece of shit like Evie had warned me about, and finding out I'm not even my own person, but a cursed fragment of the Cheshire soul, I went back to wonderland with my dad where he told me everything like he had promised and he taught me about my powers

I was sitting in a tree, watching out over the colourful fields of flowers and creatures going about their day, as the conversation with my dad on the tree trunk, repeated itself in my mind over and over again

"That why I'm the only girl?" And once again a he gave a nod instead as an answer

"It makes sense, but why haven't you gotten rid of me?" I asked, since I was born from a curse and was nothing but bad, why not kill me and get rid of it for good, my dad wrapped an arm around me and looked in my eyes

"Because I love you, and I have from the day I saw the red glow come out of me and form you in front of me" he said and I looked down

I let out a sigh, my dad loved me, and I had come to learned that he had his reasons of leaving, even tho he wouldn't tell exactly why, I trusted he had his reasons not to tell, at least not right now

"Does the cat need help getting down from the tree?" A voice from below the tree I was sitting in, pulled me out of my thoughts as I looked down and saw the mad hatters youngest brother M

"I'm not stuck you know" I said and laughed as I swung my feet, so they hang down from the branch I was on

"I know, but what's wrong with wanting to help ya anyway?" He said and laughed, and I smiled at him, M had help me through the tough time, he help me forget about everything and fast made me feel at home again

"Okay then, caught me" I said and jumped down, seeing the small look of panic on his face as he stepped closer with his hands out, and just when I was about to land in his arms, I hovered in the air and I saw him give a fake smile and drop his arms to his sides

"Funny" he said and I giggled and landed on the ground, before standing on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek

"Never gets old" I said as we walked side by side back to our home, me and my father had Been living with my uncle in his big hat formed house, and after a few weeks M came by and never left, I had been in wonderland in almost two years now, which in auradon is around 2 months

In that time, me and M had became really close, like really close, he was in his start twenties, he has brown fluffy hair and a little bit of stub on his face, but he gets annoyed if you tell him it's not an actual beard, he have blue eyes and his smile, his smile was sweeter than the candy I love so much, he was just perfect

"So are you ever going to read them?" M said as we stepped into the house, pointing to the mountain of unopened letters on the side table at the door, as he took of his jacket

"Not really" I said and kicked off my shoes, Mattie had come a few times, each time with a new letter or more, almost everyone of them was from Harry, except a few that was from Gil and bezel

"Now that I think about it, hasn't it been a while since the last one came?" He asked, and I thought for a moment, it had actually been some time since the last letter came, even though Mattie had been back since

"Yeah, but that's just great" I said as I went to the living room falling into the softest chair in the whole world as I let out a comfortable sigh

"Harry, Harry, Harry, Gil, Harry, bezel, Harry..." M said as he walked though the door to the living room from the hallway, with a few of the letters

"How about we read one?" He asked as he sat down in the couch beside me, and I turned my head and stared at him in silence

"Come on, just one, what harm can it do?" He asked, making puppy eyes, making me sigh and sit upright

"Fine" I said and he smiled

"Great, how... about... this one" he said as he pulled out a random letter from the pile

From Gil

Thank god i thought, I really didn't want to read about how sorry Harry was and to come back, the feelings I had for him was gone the moment I realised who he really was, and every thought about, letting him explain and go back had disappeared with them

I grabbed the letter and started opening it, i thought about gil and how much I missed his stupidity I a good way

I pulled the paper out from the envelope and started reading out loud

I was wonering if you're not soon coming bak? Uma still haven't returned and Harry is akting weird, his drinking a lot and is almost never her, I miss you

I sighed, and fooled the paper again, as I thought about gil being alone when M spoke

"How old is this guy? Five?" He asked jokingly and I hit him with the paper

"He's older than me, just... special" I said as the smile on my face fast disappeared again

"How about another one? Something more... interesting" he said, as he held out another letter, and I saw on the front it was the latest that had come and it was from Harry

"No thanks" I said and stood up from the chair, and was on my way out, when I heard, M starting to read out loud

I'm writing to let you know I won't be contacting ya again, I understand ya thinking about the whole thing, but I have given up on trying to explain, I guess the y/n I thought I knew, isn't real after all, the understanding, caring girl, and I guess the feelings I had was one sided, to think, ya managed to break the heart I didn't know I had too I meet ya, I hope ya happy

I spoon around to see M looking at the letter excited while grinning from ear to ear

"This is what I was talking about" he said with a laugh and I walked over and ripped the paper from his hand and started ripping it apart, as M stood up from the couch standing right in front of me only inches away

With ever rip, I felt the anger in me grow, as my fangs came out and my eyes started to glow so bright, I could see the slight on the paper, and I started to breath heavily

I broke his heart? Is that some kind of sick joke, i thought as I came to a point I could rip the paper into smaller pieces

"Hey" M said, putting his hand on my cheek making me lookup from the paper and into his eyes

"Relax, it's okay" he said, as a soft smile was on his face, I started to try and control my breathing, as the light from my eyes to fade

"Just like that" he said and pulled me into a hug, M had a fantastic power of calming me down, just like Harry had, but now every time I just think of his face, my blood starts to boil, I wrapped my arms around him as well as my breathing was completely normal again

Me pulled away and I looked up at him, as his hands were on my shoulders

"Sorry" I said, like I had done something wrong and he smiled

"No I'm sorry, I didn't know the letter would upset you so much" he said and I smiled back at him

"It's fine, just hate thinking about it, my life before" I said and looked down, only for my head to be pulled back up by Ms fingers under my chin

"Then don't think about it, just right here, right now, with me" he said, as he placed a small kiss on my lips

To say I was over Harry was an understatement
