Chapter thirty nine

Y/n PoV

As we walked away from the cottage, Harry's arm was still around me, and I realised that there soon would have gone a few days in wonderland, and it would be time for me to have taken away the stone from Mal

I looked around at them all, and I knew that if Audrey could help, without me having to die, I would do everything I could

I left Harry's grip and walked towards Mal, as she walked I could see the stone in her hand, I slowly walked towards her and slowly started to lift my hand, to grab it when Mal turned around and looked at me over her shoulder

"Y/n what are you doing?" She asked and I froze, I looked around and saw everyone looking at me, I sighed

"Can I talk to you real quick Mal?" I asked, not wanting to lie to her, I decided to ask her straight up about her mothers staff

We walked to the side, away from the others, so they couldn't hear, Mal stopped infront of me and crossed her arms

"My father is dying" I started of with and her mouth opened a little

"Y/n I'm so..." I lifted my hand, to stop her

"I made a deal with your father, for him to help me, but I have to sacrifice something that's very dear to me, but Audrey, made me a deal... I just, I wouldn't do it unless I knew for sure if she actually could do it so I have to ask" I stopped to take a breath "can your mothers staff heal a dying soul?" I asked and mals face softened, before she slowly shook her head

"My fathera ember is the only thing that can heal souls, but I promise you, I'll let you borrow it when all this is done, and whatever it is you have to give, we'll fighter out, together" she placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled, I sighed and looked down, If only she knew

"Yeah" I said and sat down "I just need a minute" I said and she gave a small nod before walking back to the others, when she was far enough away so she couldn't see, I pulled up the small bottle from my pocket and played with it in my hand, I opened it and pored a small drop to the ground, it started to smoke as soon as it hit and I sighed, it seemed it at least would be quick

I put the cap back on when I suddenly heated Mal apologising, I walked over to them just in time to see Celia grab the gem from mals hand and throw it into a fountain

"NOOOO!" I screamed, as it started to spark, before the glow disappeared, I ran over just as Mal picked it up from the water and started to cast a spell on it, but nothing happened, she looked up at uma and Harry who both looked sad, uma said something I couldn't hear before starting to walk off, a little away Harry stopped and looked at me, with pleading eyes, but I just stood, frozen, before nothing the words I'm sorry, and walking over to Mal, she she was speaking to the vk's they all looked very mad and sad, but just as I was about to try and find out what happen, a bang and fug covered the vk's and Ben, and when it cleared up, they were all stone

"What the fuck" I whispered, a small subbed beside me, when suddenly she came over and took my hands before placing the booking gem in my palm, she held on to my hands as I looked at it, and before I knew it, a single tear started to fall from my eye, followed by more, as I realised, I could no longer do anything to help my father, and for once in my life, I was the one to start singing

I gave her a small sad nod, before walking off into the forest, as her singing faded my tears started to fall once again, I cried the whole way to the hole, but when I was just about to jump in, a roar could be heard all over, but not any roar, a dragon

I jumped away from the hole and ran straight back to Mal, and as I ran, I suddenly hear someone running outside the forest as well

"Y/N!" It was Harry and Uma, both of them was yelling my name as they ran straight back to the danger

"UMA! HARRY!" I yelled back, and just as the Forrest ended I saw them both arrive to the same spot, I ran straight into uma arms, and Harry threw his arms around us both

"Are ya okay" Harry said as we let go and I nodded

"But Mal" I said and we all looked back towards Mal who was now in her dragon form

"Help me Mal!" It was Celia, standing on top the tower with Audrey

We ran over there and stopped below Mal as she hovered in the air, I looked around as uma and Harry looked straight at her, when it hit me

"Uma your shell!" Uma looked at me and then started to grab for her necklace

"We're stronger together Mal! I'm right here!" She held up her shell as Mal came lower to look at us

"Regain your might and ignite!Regain your might and ignite!!" Mals eyes started to water, as she open her dragon hand to reveal the gem now glowing, I gasp as uma continued to hype up Mal, and before long Mal was shooting the gems powers straight at Audrey, the excitement took over me and I grabbed on to Harry's arm, holding it tight as I watched, after a few seconds Mal stopped, and I could tell that it had worked Audrey had failed, uma started to jump up and down as Mal lowered herself to the ground, I turned to Harry, and we were just about to embrace when we both stopped

"Oh..ehm... I..." Harry stuttered, as he slowly lowered his hands, but I didn't care the gem was working again, and for a second I could only think of one thing that could make this moment even better

"Fuck it, come here pirate" I said, grabbing him by the collar and smashing our lips together, I could clearly feel the shook in Harry, but it only took him a second before he leaned into the kiss and wrapped his arms around me

As we pulled apart Harry smirked at me without removing his grin from around me

"Well well, I wish that boyfriend of yours was here to see this" I hit him on the shoulder, before placing my head on his chest, melting into his embrace, taking it all in and forgetting about what I had to do next for a moment

"Glad to see you two figured it out" Uma said and came over to us "tonight, I'll leave you two uninterrupted" she said and winked at us, I heard harry chuckled, and I couldn't help but smile myself, remembering all the times Uma had interrupted us at the worst times, but my smile quickly called, as I remembered, I would be here tonight

Before long everyone was suddenly standing next to us confused, we explained everything to them, Harry, uma, Gil and Celia all walked to the car that would take them back to the isle, I stood there watching as Harry stopped infront of the door and looked at me, I turned to look at Mal, she threw me the gem without hesitation

"If you need us, you're always welcome back here" she said and I smiled before turning around and running to Harry, who held the door open for me

The whole way back, I played with the gem in my hand, as I rested my head on Harry's shoulder
