Fate was lounging on top of the base once more, enjoying the warmth the sun was leaving as it bounced of her frame.
A good month has past since her talk with optimus while sitting up here, having had talks every couple of days since.
StarStreak was Being a complete social butterfly on the other servo, having made friends all around the autobot base.
Fate was glad to see her friend coming out of her shell, and spending much more time NOT brooding.
Everything had been peaceful other then the occasional question of where 'The young Kathrin' had gone, which Fate usually deflected.
Everybot and human was happy, all except Fate. Her gut was making her sick with anxiety, something feeling wrong.
She knew that it ment that something bad was on its way, the sun only slightly helping to lessen the Tank wrenching feeling.
It was mid noon as the sky started to darken, a low rumble being heard in the distance as the sun was blocked out.
Cold wet drops hit the stop of Fates Metallic scales, still in her preddy form from her sunbathing.
Her helm raised to look into the sky as it started to pour down on her, she knew this weather.
It was the final mourning, the skys crying there final tears before its all gone.
It was a sad sight, one Fate dreaded every universe she was ever in.
Some managed to stay on track, All major event's taken care of, everything going according to plan.
And then there was the others...
The once that ended far too soon, where the skys bleed and cried in a final pled to be saved. Sadly that help rarely came, allways just out of reach it seems.
She huffed as she stood, walking to the elevator. She rarely used it seeing as she had no proper reason to ever enter the base.
Every helm and head moved to look at her once the elevator doors in the main room opened, water still dripping off her frame.
"Splits? Why are you soaking wet?" Asked StarStreak, a thoughtful friend as allways.
Fate however just pointed a claw at the TV, Signaling silently for it to be turned on.
Raf gave a small nod, activating it only for the news to immediately flash up.
"Weather reports from across the world are coming in rapidly, All talking about the heavy flood rain that has arrived just an hour ago.
Reports say that even in the short time street's and basement have been completely flooded, with the heavy floods injuring many people.
Everybody is warned to get and stay on top of tall places, taking only the most valuable objects with them.
This is a world wide catastrophe, research are at a loss on what could have caused this freak storm-" The reporter spoke with a clear hint of panik in his voice, as Jack turns the Television back off, putting his hands on his face.
"So what? Big stone guys back and we gotta kick his aft again?" Miko asked, causing Fate to snort as Ratchet struggled to keep her in place as he used large towels to try and dry her off a little.
"Stop squirming, Youngling!" Ratchet cursed as fate jumped away and transformed to her bipedal mode.
"Unicron is still in his slumber, this is something far worse. Something we can't stop without losing quite a bit more than some memories." She growled out, optics glowing brightly.
"Optimus, we are reserving a strong energy signal from a nearby mountain range, it would seem as if its the epicenter of this storm" Ultra Magnus reported from the monitor, seeing as Ratchet was still fighting with the smaller prime to dry her off, with Fate trying to argue that it doesn't matter.
"Some of us will have to go out there to investigate-" Optimus Started before getting interrupted by an enraged Splitspark.
"NO! NONE OF YOU WILL GO OUT THERE, ITS AN OPEN INVITATION FOR CASUALTY'S! I go, ALONE!" She roared, catching everybody off guard.
And just like that she opened a portal and flew off, finding the mountain with ease.
At its top stood mech, surrounding a large Maschine that shoot a bright beam into the sky.
Thunder and lightning clashed as she dived, left Front Arm first as she crashed into it, the Maschine exploding into a large white Light swallowing everything around it.
As the light faded and the sky cleared, the only evidence of the machine and Splitspark ever existing a large crater where the machine once stood.
In side that crater lays a smoldering metal feather, with the colors and Patterns of the galaxy itself.
