Chapter Nine: Floor 8 (Atlantica)/Difficult Reunion

Floor 7 Exit/Floor 8 Enter................................................(7-8)

Darcey enters the Seventh Floor Exit Hall, with Donald, Faith and Goofy trailing behind her. She gasps as she enters, as she sees her friend, Amanda, walking toward her. Feeling shocked and happy to see her, but confused too. It felt like weeks since she saw her, as she was trapped in the Realm of Darkness with King Mickey. So how is it possible that she's here in Castle Oblivion?. When Amanda stopped walking and was a couple of metres away from her. Darcey thought it might be the right time, to get some answers from her friend. Twitchy looked at Amanda, but sensed something didn't feel right. Darcey asks her "You're... Amanda?! What are YOU doing here? How did YOU get here?!". Amanda had no emotion on her face and coldly answered her question " What? That's what comes out of your mouth? Not happy to see me? Lemme know if I'm getting in the way---ya know, of something that's more important.". This shocked Darcey by her harsh attitude. Darcey tried to explain herself to her "Huh? No!, I didn't mean that.....its just that...." Amanda didn't let her finish, instead she snarked "Hmph. Spare your excuses, for the Judge Miss Good girlie. I bet that you had all but forgotten about me." Darcey was caught off guard and tried to reason with her "Are you crazy? C'mon. I came all this way looking for YOU! I'd wasn't ready to go home without YOU!". Amanda just scoffed and said "But you're not anymore, right? Now it's only Phoenix that you're looking for. You don't care about me. Just like you never cared... ...at all about his feelings.". This confused Darcey, cause she didn't mention Phoenix to Amanda yet. "Phoenix's...?" Darcey asks in confusion.

Amanda continued asking her about Phoenix and said "Hmph. I knew it. Never even gave it a thought, did you? Just cuz you want to see Phoenix---sorry---doesn't go both ways. Tell ya the truth, Phoenix doesn't even want to look at your face, after what you did to him." Darcey was speechless and asked "Why not?! What did I do?". Still being bitter and harsh to her, Amanda told her in a serious tone "You should ask your memories...why Phoenix disappeared from the islands. Remember that, and you'd know. Or maybe you believed what our parents told us and you were stupid enough to listen to them.". Darcey felt like a knife stabbed in her heart and asked her "Did I... Did I do something? Is it my fault? Did I believed what our parents told me? Amanda...". To her shock, she witnessed the darkness envelops Amanda and she donned her darkness armor, over her original clothes.

Amanda ordered her in an aggressive tone "Go home, Darcey. Back to your perfect war-hero family! I'll care for Phoenix. Anyone who goes near him...(She summons her weapon, Soul Eater)...goes through me!". Amanda attacks Darcey, who blocks the attack with her Keyblade and her lightsaber. Their blades clash together, with sparks coming out from the three weapons. Twitchy barked at Amanda, before going back in the bag. Darcey begged her to listen "What's---What's wrong with you?! We're supposed to be friends! More importantly, we're sisters! Not by blood! But by bond!". However, that didn't stop Amanda from attacking her, Amanda rebuked her "Please, Darcey. Since when have you ever cared about me? We're not sisters! We're rivals! And I've always been better than you without the Force! Phoenix's not the only one who's sick of looking at you. So am I!". Amanda jumps backwards, readying herself for her next attack. Darcey refuses to fight, she had no choice but to fight her, "Amanda, stop it! Please! This isn't you!". Darcey and Amanda continue to battle each other. Amanda continued fighting, as Darcey only used defence attacks to avoid hurting her. As she doesn't want to damage her, before going home. Amanda was about to strike her in the back, Darcey yelled in pain, she quickly healed herself and use the Force to jump away for her next attack. They continued battling, til Darcey prepared for Amanda's second back strike. This time she used the Force Shield and defeated Amanda with thunder magic, and healed herself from the attacks.
