Nadia's pov

I'm in my room, covering up my bruises on my wrist and neck with foundation to prevent Sam or anyone seeing them.

I put on a hoodie. I headed to the library. I see Dean and Sam on the phone.

I hear Charlie's voice on speaker.

"..Found research notes in the monastery crypt, though, by the friar that buried it. The Book of the Damned is a spell book for creating and undoing any kind of damnation there is. We translate this thing, I think we can get the Mark of Cain off you, Dean," she said, on speaker.

"Charlie, you're a genius," Dean said. "A fugitive genius. These dudes that are following me, they are well trained. One of them keeps talking about his family. I spotted a tattoo on one of them. Might have a family crest. It seems occult. As soon as the Book was out of the ground, they were all over me. I don't know how much more running I have in me. They are tracking the book somehow," she said.

"Alright, we need to get you off grid, Charlie. Where are you right now?" Sam asked. "South of Des Moines," she said.

"Bobby may have some cabins scattered around the place for Hunters to crash. There's not much, but some gear and more lore books, and stuff to keep you busy until we get there," Dean said.

"Bring snacks..," she continued. "Hey, Charlie, it's Nadia," I said.

"Nadia, hey. It's good to hear your voice again," she said. "We gotta catch up," I said.

"So how have you been since you know?" she asked. "Good but I had better days," I said.

"I heard. Are you and Dean back on good terms?" she asked. "We're good. Hopefully to see you soon," I said.

"Okay, I better go," she said. "Be careful," I said. "I will," she said, hanging up.

A few moments later, Dean and Sam were getting prepared to meet Charlie.

I am in the storage room, looking for something to hide the Book of the Damned.

I found this led box. I opened it, seeing warding inside the box.

"Jackpot!" I whispered, closing the box. I got up, leaving the storage room.

I quickly ran to the main area. "Guys, look what I found," I said.

"What is it?" Dean asked. "There's wardings inside. If you put the book in this, it'll be taken off the radar," I said, opening the lead box with warding signs on it.

"Where did you find it?" Sam asked. "In the storage closet," I said, smiling.

"You're awesome, Nadia," Dean said, kissing my cheek. I gave it to him.

"Nadia, you want to come with us?" Sam asked. "Um, no. I'm gonna stay here, just in case Cas returns," I said.

"You sure?" Sam asked. "Yeah, I'll wait for Cas here," I said.

"Okay, I'll be outside waiting," Sam said, heading out. "Gonna see if he's got his grace back to heal your bruises?" Dean asked.

I nodded. "Yes," I said, hugging him.
"Okay. We'll be back soon," Dean said.

"Just bring Charlie back safely," I said. "We will," he said, rubbing my shoulders.

"Just be careful," I said. "We will. You do the same,," Dean said.

"One step closer to getting this Mark off you," I said. We kissed each other.

"I love you," he said. "I know you do," I said. Dean smiled as he headed upstairs, opening the Bunker door.
