MIDORIYA'S POV

As I put my car in park in front of Todoroki's house, I finished my phone call. "I just wanted to let you know I should be heading that way in the next fifteen to twenty minutes. Since we agreed that Daiki should not be there when I come to get the rest of my stuff."

"Thank you for letting me know, and Izuku, we need to meet with our lawyer to go over the papers and sign them. She called me today and said this is one of the cleanest and fastest divorces she has ever been a part of. I told her that is because we discussed it and agreed to everything beforehand."

I nodded my head even though she couldn't see it. "Alright, just let me know when and where, and I will be there." I paused for a moment to gather the courage to continue speaking. "Itsuka, I really am sorry about this. I hope someday you can forgive me," I sighed. "How is Daiki doing?"

I could hear the sadness in her voice when she responded. "He is playing in his room right now. He doesn't understand. He just misses you. He asked me if you were at work this morning, but he will be alright."

My heart broke as a tear fell free from my eye. "I miss him too; I gotta go, though." There are a lot of cars here. I just hope Todoroki didn't forget. "I'll text you if anything changes. See you in the morning when you drop him off." I ended my call before making my way up the walk to the door.

I knocked and waited, unsure if they could hear me over the loud but muffled voices inside. After about two or three minutes, I knocked a little louder. It was only about forty seconds or so this time, and the door opened.

"Hey, Midoriya." Sero greeted me. I stepped inside, and my nerves were on edge as I had an awkward moment with the guys. "Hey, guys." Oh shit, Kacchan is here. He's going to get pissed again. I just won't make eye contact. That will help, right? I made up a quick excuse for why I was using Sero's truck. He got us the keys, and Todoroki and I left.

I relaxed a bit as soon as we got in the truck. "I didn't realize you guys had company. If I had known, I would have just called and told you I was here."

He smiled at me. "Don't be silly, Midoriya. It would not matter if we had company or not. You are always welcome." I gave him a small smile as he started the truck and put it in gear. We were off toward a place I used to call home. "Does Itsuka know you are coming? I would hate to surprise her."

I turned my head to look at him. "Yes, she knows. She and Daiki are getting something to eat and then to the store to grab a few things she needs. We didn't want him here while I was moving my stuff out."

Todoroki nodded his head in understanding and parked the truck in my old driveway. The two of us went inside, heading straight for my office. Itsuka had already put some boxes in here for me. We got busy packing. I started with my bookshelf. I still have all my old hero notebooks from middle and high school. Todoroki grabbed one with a small smile. "Wow, you still have these?"

I chuckled at him. "Yeah, I don't think I will ever get rid of them." Once we finished that, I moved onto my desk and packed it all into two boxes. In another box, I put what little pictures I have in here, some hero merch, and my All Might figures.

I told Todoroki what else needed to go from in there so I could go to the bedroom I used to share with my soon-to-be ex-wife and get what I needed to from there, which wasn't much. After putting the last few things in the truck, I texted Itsuka that I was done and heading out in five minutes.

We pulled up to the storage unit in no time. At least my lie at Todoroki's house earlier wasn't a complete lie. We unloaded everything into my storage unit and locked it up tight. "That didn't take too long. Do you want to go look at a few places with me? I have three to look at today."
