MIDORIYA'S POV

"Where's Daiki?" Himari asked while looking around for him.

"He's with his mom today," I smiled sadly. He's been with me for the last four days since Itsuka had to work, but he went back today. I have to go back to work tomorrow myself. "I figured today could just be you and me."

She smiled before reaching for my hand. She's gotten a little less clingy, but overcrowded places still scared her. "What are we going to do?"

"First, we're going home so you can change out of your uniform. Then, I think we'll go to the arcade. We can get pizza there and play some games for a while. Then maybe after that, we can get some ice cream, head back home, and do your homework." She smiled widely while squeezing my hand.

"Hey, Midoriya!" A voice yelled suddenly from the crowd of people. I looked around for the noise before seeing Sero pushing toward me with his daughter Sakura. Himari's grip on my hand tightened.

I looked down at her with a warm smile. "We were at their house the other day. He's a hero, too."

"Cellophane," she replied quietly.

I nodded my head. "We call him Sero when he's not working, though. Okay?"

"Hey," Sero said nervously as he approached us. He knew what was happening and how mad I was at his husband.

He turned his attention to Himari. "Sorry I didn't get the chance to talk to you when you were at my house the other day. My name is Hanta Sero."

Himari smiled politely before introducing herself.

"What are you guys up to today?" Sero asked.

Before I could respond, Himari said, "We're going to the arcade!" The smile on her face was enough to warm my heart. "After I go home and change out of my school uniform."

"Man, I'm jealous. I haven't been to the arcade in a couple of years. Usually, Shoto is the one who gets the time to take the kids."

If he were fishing for an invite, he wouldn't get one. If Todoroki knew, he probably did too.

"Maybe when things have calmed down a little more, we can all go together. Right now, I need some space." Sakura frowned, but Sero nodded his head. He knew I was upset about the whole situation.

"If you're feeling up for it, you should call Iida and invite them along. He's been trying to get ahold of you," Sero said quietly.

Yeah, I've been ignoring all of my friends, which was wrong. They didn't know or have anything to do with it. At least, I hope they didn't.

"Deku?" Himari said quietly while tugging on my hand. "Can Sakura come?"

"Are you guys in the same class?" Sero asked quickly, trying to change the topic.

Both girls shook their heads. "No, but we see each other during lunch and stuff. We sit at the same table." Hearing that made me smile. At least Himari wasn't having a hard time with being around people her own age.

As much as I didn't want them to come, I don't know if I should say no. If Himari is making friends, I don't want to stop that. "Are you okay if I take Sakura for a few hours?" I asked Sero. "I can bring her back around seven so she has time to do her homework."

"You know what, yeah," Sero said with a warm smile. Just because I'm not happy with them doesn't mean that I'm going to take it out on the kids. We don't do that crap.

"Thank you, Daddy!" Sakura said while hugging her dad.

"You be good for Midoriya, okay?" He said as he hugged her back and placed a kiss on the top of her head.
