BAKUGO'S POV

"It's still bothering me," I groaned.

"Dude, you talked to Midoriya about it. There isn't much else you can do," Shitty Hair sighed.

"If Kendo is being mean to Daiki and hitting him, Midoriya will get to the bottom of it. Daiki is the most important thing to him," Half and Half reassured. I may not have a lot of faith in the damn nerd, but I have enough faith to believe that he will get to the bottom of it.

I also don't understand how he didn't realize his wife had been treating their son so terribly. They live together, for fucks sake. "Icy Hot, do you know what's happening with Deku and the bitch?"

Shitty Hair shoved my arm. "Don't call her that." No kids are around, and I would never talk down on another parent in front of them. However, I'll talk however the fuck I want when we are children-free.

I ignored Shitty Hair and kept my gaze focused on Icy Hot. He's the only one that would know what's going on with him. "It's a complicated situation. You'll have to ask one of them. I don't think I can tell you guys."

I'm about to ask Deku myself. I'm not one to keep up with the gossip, but it's been almost a week, and he nor his wife has said anything about the situation. Everyone assumes she cheated on him, but he didn't seem too bothered when it popped up on the television the other day.

I'll get to the bottom of it eventually. I'm sure if I don't find out from the gossip and social media, one of the nerds will eventually fucking tell me.

Before I could try to get more out of him, Elbows and Dunce walked back in with a few boxes of pizza.

"I was about to eat the couch," Shitty Hair said with relief as he stood from the couch and walked into the kitchen.

Half and Half stopped in the doorway and turned to me. "Are you coming?"

I waved my hand. "In a bit." I haven't responded to Camposing since I got here. Shitty Hair keeps trying to read over my shoulder, and it pisses me off. He's the one that told me to download the app and talk about shit I'm not comfortable talking about with anyone else. Then, he tries to read it anyway.

I unlocked my phone and opened the app to re-read the last message he sent me.

Camposing1- It's a lazy day, I guess. My son is with his mom for the next two days, and I don't have to work today. I'm trying to keep myself busy with bills and stuff, but my mind wanders.

Nitro1991- Is anything specific stealing your attention?

Camposing1- Fighting for full custody. Every day, I hear more and more stuff about how my ex-wife is treating our son, and I don't like it.

Nitro1991- Do you have any witnesses? Having someone who has seen her treat him poorly could help when you try to go for full custody.

Camposing1- No. I think I'm going to start looking around for some lawyers and see what they have to say. I don't want to take our son away from her fully, but she can't keep threatening him like she is currently.

Déjà vu swept over my body. Why does this situation seem familiar?

I must still have Shitty Deku on my mind.

Over ten million people live in this city and the outskirts. It's not rare for people to get divorced or fight for custody. I could be feeling déjà vu because I've broken up thousands of disputes because of divorces and custody issues. I know how badly it can hurt a family.

Nitro1991- I'll tell you the same thing I have always told anyone with issues like this. Always fucking do what is best for your kid. I know it may not seem fair to the parents, or the other spouse might disagree, but kids come first. They're worth fighting for.
