BAKUGO'S POV

Camposing1- When do I get to see you next? It's been almost a week.

Nitro1991- Tomorrow morning. I haven't been pulling as much overtime, and my house isn't cheap.

Camposing1- Maybe you can bring Cotton and spend the night.

Daiki will be with his mom, but that still leaves Himari. She's not young enough to fall for the same fake story that Daiki is.

Nitro1991- What about Himari?

Camposing1- She'll be at Todoroki and Sero's for a sleepover with the girls. I mean, it's practically right next door, but she won't be here during the night.

Nitro1991- We'll get caught if I bring Cotton. I'll have to take him outside at some point in time. Hold on, I'll ask Shitty Hair to keep Cotton for the night.

Without waiting for a reply, I slid my phone into my pocket. "Hey, Shitty Hair?"

"What's up?" he replied while scanning our surroundings. It's been an annoying day of fans, so we've been bouncing around on the rooftops the last few hours.

"Can you keep Cotton tomorrow night?" I asked. I rarely ask anyone to keep my dog since I know he's my responsibility, but even pet parents need a break occasionally.

"Yeah, no problem!" He beamed. "What are you doing tomorrow night?"

I didn't answer him as I slid my phone back out of my pocket.

Nitro1991- He said he'll keep Cotton. If you pick Cotton and me up after your patrol tomorrow, I can take Cotton over and sneak into your house after Himari heads over.

"Oooh, are you planning something with your boyfriend?" Shitty Hair asked in a teasing tone.

Nitro1991- Babe? Did I lose you?

He usually answers right away, but he hasn't answered me since I asked where Himari would be. "Remember to use protection, Bakubro." Before he could say anything else, I put my right hand on him and shoved him over the edge of the building.

I couldn't tell if he was laughing or screaming the four stories down as he fell, but it didn't matter. After he hit the ground, he laughed. "Bakubro!" he yelled. "You have to stop pushing me off the roofs!"

"Stop pissing me off!" I yelled back. His quirk could handle it. I would never push him off anything that would hurt him. Four stories, on the other hand, was one of the shortest buildings in the city. It wouldn't leave a single scratch on him.

After staring at my phone for a few more seconds, I shoved it back into my pocket with a sigh. He probably got caught up in something. He'll get back to me when he can.

I jumped from the roof, using my explosions to slow me down just before I hit the ground. Shitty Hair stood a few feet away from me, looking at his phone. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, Mina was telling me she had to go help with the kids because Todoroki had to go see Midoriya because he's apparently having a huge meltdown. Weren't you just talking to him?"

I quickly pulled my phone out of my pocket before dialing my boyfriend. He answered on the second ring.

"Hey, are you okay? I heard you're having a meltdown." I walked further down the alley to get away from Shitty Hair.

"I didn't want to b-bother you since you're patrolling," he said quickly with uneven breaths.

"Baby, breathe," I whispered. "Are the kids okay?"
