She felt cold, her skin only protected by the plants inside of the tube that she had created with her powers. She felt humiliated, laying naked inside of the test tube that Bane had trapped her in was making her helpless. She hoped that even with her reduced strength she would be able to easily escape, but Bane had been prepared for that. He and the others who were working with the so-called White Rabbit had captured her without any warning. Though she hoped that anyone would save her by this moment in time, she did leave a hint to find her in her botany.

Her eyes widened slightly as soon as she saw the door open on its own. She moved her hands towards her chest, covering her ample breasts. She did not want to give anyone a free show of her naked body. Thankfully the plants she had managed to create were covering her nether region, so she did not have to worry about it. She made a small smile as soon as she saw how had been the one to activate the door in the first place. From everyone she had thought would help her, he had been the first name to come to mind.

"Batman!" She yelled, still covering her body from the hero. She did narrow her eyes slightly at the state of his suit, her eyes being critical over the cuts that the suit had. Batman may face against metahumans all the time with his gadgets, but even she knew that he would not stand a chance if his gadgets were failing. Deep inside, she did not want any harm to happen to the man. She had become obsessed with him ever since she kissed him all those years ago. She had various relationships since then, but no one could compare to the elation that he was able to create in her.

"Poison Ivy..." She frowned at that, her eyes going a bit distressed. She knew that he knew her name. But every single time she was reminded that she was Poison Ivy, the villainess with the power to control the flora. She had thrived with her alias for quite some time, but she had forgotten what it was like to just be called Pamela Isley. She needed to find that recognition that she, Pamela, existed and that she was not just Poison Ivy. "I followed the trail from the clue you left inside your laboratory. Smart move"

"The moment you open that lock, I swear, that cro-magnon Bane will regret the day he was ever born" But she had her priorities straight, needing revenge for everything Bane did to her. The brute of a man not only saw her naked, but treated her like a ragdoll. She was like a doll to the villain, being handled left and right. And that was unacceptable in her eyes. She needed her revenge, to make the bastard suffer for everything.

"Not this time, Ivy" She opened her eyes slightly, directing a small glare to the hero that had found her inside of the test tube. She stared right at his unmoving soul, not seeing any flinch from his part whatsoever. "You're leaving" She sighed in defeat, looking away while closing her eyes completely. She knew just how stubborn the man could be. He could even give a mule a run for its money in that category, but she also knew that he would defeat Bane. So, she decided in her mind to let him resolve the job. "I'll distract Bane long enough to buy you some time to return to the Birds of Prey''

That was another change in her life, beginning to see if she could actually do good. It was the sole reason Bane used her like a ragdoll for the entirety of her stay there. It was even a miracle that she got a few meals from the brute, almost expecting to receive nothing at all. But she wanted out of the tube they put her in. She was not a guinea pig to be used as an experiment for someone who could not understand what it meant to control the green.

"I don't need protection from Bane" And just like that, she also showed her stubborn side. She was stronger than bane, even if she looked physically weaker than the luchador. But with her powers to manipulate plants, she didn't even need to keep on strengthening her body. She was already physically strong thanks to the boost the green gave her, she just needed her creativity to punish Bane for what he did to her. "You know I can handle myself"

"I know, but Bane's fight is with me. Sit back" She huffed, but ultimately completely gave up on the idea of fighting Bane. She had full trust that Batman would be able to defeat the villain, but she also did not want to leave him alone fighting the brute while hurt. In her past, she would have already escaped from that place as soon as the hero would liberate her. But now her feelings were also affecting her, which led her to want to fight besides the Dark Knight.

Her eyes stared at him, looking just as he used the sharpness of his gauntlet to pierce through the glass while creating a circle. As soon as he removed the glass from the pod, she started to walk out of it. A small smile on her face as she escaped from it and her connection to the green was empowered slightly. She did feel her cheeks turn a darker green as soon as she felt the cape of the hero covering her up. He was still the respectful man that would never look at her body, even while she was in her exhibitionist stage of her life.

"You need to know that Bane created an antidote to the new toxin, an accelerant based upon-"

"The virgin star cactus" She was impressed by his knowledge, though she expected nothing less from the hero. He was the greatest detective in the entire world, even better than some of the so-called experts. But what surprised her the most was that he seemingly already knew of the toxin Bane had created. "I already have a sample" And if she was not impressed enough, he already had it on his person. She should have really expected it, he always entered a battle prepared for anything. But it was still amazing seeing his analytical mind at work. "Will it work on Bane?"

"It will, but just having it won't work" She began, ever so passionate about botany. She loved the flora, even the most hideous of plants were beautiful in her eyes. She had studied to have every single knowledge about them. So just having a normal conversation with someone else about the sap of a cactus was amazing, in her mind. "The only way you could get to use it is by making Bane ingest the antidote of the virgin star cactus's accelerant" She explained, hearing a soft grunt coming from his throat. She could see in his eyes that he was about to risk his everything just to stop Bane, which made her slightly thankful for it. After all, she still wanted her revenge against the brute. "And I doubt he's interested in dinner unless you're on the menu"

"I'll think of something" She hummed softly, her body tired and still weak. Maybe it was because of this that the Dark Knight was not allowing her to fight against the luchador. Her body was still recovering from being trapped inside of the pod. She had to hand it to the hero, he knew her better than even herself. It was because of this that her heart got snared to him. Just the way he worries for her and just how well he knows her. "What can you tell me about White Rabbit?"

"She's only as loyal to Bane as the money he pays her" She narrowed her eyes to the hero, her mind uncertain about the topic of their conversation. She needed to be mindful about the female in white, keeping watch of her to make sure of her real intentions. She could always have her plants spy on the female to let her know what she was up to. She was already mindful of that Jaina girl that often left messages to Bruce Wayne's phone, she didn't need to look out for yet another female. She only knew who was Batman behind the cowl because of her recent obsession, her plants telling her exactly who he was. "What is she to you?"

"An enemy" She was thankful for his answer, alleviating her slight doubts. But even then, she still had to deal with the dark skinned female that kept accepting his offers of dinner. She needed to keep a closer eye on the woman, but she rarely kept any plants near the place she was staying. She slowly stood up, being helped by the hero. She kissed his cheek though it was closer to his lips, the place that she really wanted to kiss. She used her powers to let the plants release some kind of pollen that should be able to numb the pain a bit. To not see him in any more pain.

"Be careful, Batman" She walked away, glancing at the hero momentaneously before escaping from the place. She was really not going away, staying behind to help the Dark Knight from the shadows. She needed to make sure that he would end alright from his bout against Bane. She didn't want to lose him, her heart throbbing against her chest quite rapidly. She wanted to say something more, to express her feelings correctly to the man who had even taken a bullet for her in the past, but she was scared of the outcome. But regardless, she just hoped that he would find her as soon as she was finished with the confrontation. Being able to help him further and maybe have the chance to confess was a moment that she had been dreaming of. She never imagined herself falling in love with him. But now, she couldn't see a life without him in her life and she was happy with that.
