"Back home, everyone had one of these..." She said, in her hand resting a bright clear ball that was illuminating most of the area that she was currently visiting. She hesitated to say its actual name, already knowing that he wouldn't be able to understand the words. But she knew that he would be able to reverse engineer what the object does and be able to help people. It was in his veins, she knew that much. She even still received help from him when her cousin decided that she didn't need help, even when she pleaded for said help. Or when she wanted to get out of her family's sight, he would always welcome her to his home. It was no wonder that she fell in love with the man, even if there was a physical age difference between the two. "I guess in English it would be 'Sourcedoc' or 'Reset Button'... I really don't know"

She heard him hum, his eyes staring at the object in her palm. She smiled slightly, considering all the options she still had to be able to break free from her cousin's grasp. She couldn't stand it any more, and that was not even talking about all the problems she has been dealing with right now. She wanted to be freed from the life of a hero, to enjoy her own life and not be pushed around by the family she is supposed to protect. She was the one who should be protecting her cousin, but since she was in status for a longer period of time, the man had developed an overprotectiveness for her. And she was tired of it, and the only one that could help her escape was the man in front of her.

"Once you calibrate it into your life signs, it periodically monitors your cellular structures for flaws" She explained, her legs slightly parted as she stood in a comfortable position. She had a slightly serious expression on her face, yet it slowly crumbled away as her mind thought of every single time the hero in black in front of her has helped her before. Even from the day that they met, which she could tell that he didn't trust her at all, he was already helping her get acclimated to having a life on Earth. Something that she was very thankful for. "If anything comes up, it builds the offending cells using packets of condensed quantum strings... or something like that"

"It rewrites your genetic code? On the fly?" She pondered slightly about it, thinking carefully about the Kryptonian item in her hand. She placed it on the table in front of her before she crossed her arms underneath her ample chest. She glanced at the item, the sphere made of Kryptonian crystal laid now in front of her. In theory, what the man said about rewriting the genetic code was indeed correct. It was a very brief way of explaining what the sphere was actually capable of.

"Once it's reverse-engineered, calibrated to work on humans and passed by the Food and Drug Administration..." She left the sentence unfinished, her mind already thinking of the many foul plays that would exist just to be able to obtain one of those spheres. But she trusted no one, except for the man in front of her, with any Kryptonian item. Especially when it could be proven dangerous if it is used in chaotic ways. She knew from experience that people would often fall to their greed. She had seen it when dealing with Brainiac, someone she despised greatly. "Yeah... I guess that is a way to summarize what it does..."

"Kara-"

"It could be sold for one million dollars" She hastily replied, her eyes staring at the man who seemingly wanted to say something. She knew that he wouldn't need the money in the first place, he was the richest man she ever knew. Well, she knew another rich person but never in her life would she ever deal with him again. That man had broken her trust more times than she would ever know, apparently. Never in her life did she even want to hear the name Alexander Luthor. "I know it is worth more, but all I want is not to worry about clothes and rent"

"You know that Diana and I set aside money for you" She flinched slightly, remembering that the man in front of him was not the only one that had been helping her with her monetary issues. She also has been getting help from Diana Prince, better known as Wonder Woman. Though she could feel lately that Diana had been very focused on her, as if watching over her in her cousin's place. She was tired of being treated as a child, she was older than his cousin by years. Yet because she was still in stasis, she looked physically younger than him. "If you need help-"

"Please, Bruce... I just want to think things clearly without having him being worried sick every few seconds" The man, who was in fact Bruce Wayne, didn't react to her words. But she could feel that he knew of her predicament, that he could understand what she was going through at this moment. He just sighed, turning around slightly and started typing on the computer. Kara smiled slightly, walking towards the man who was concentrating on whatever he was doing with the electrical device.

"Do you want a check or should I buy you an apartment building?" The direct question from the man made her chuckle slightly, now standing right besides the one who protected Gotham City at night. She bent down a bit, her lips touching the cowl he had on. Her lips left a rosy mark on the cowl, which made her giggle slightly. She would have preferred to give him a kiss straight on his lips, but she wanted to figure everything out beforehand. She really wanted to know what her real feelings were before she decided to act upon her feelings.

"Thank you" She kept smiling his way, a grunt was everything she received from him in response. She definitely was grateful for everything he has ever done for her. Her heart throb a bit harder against her chest just knowing that today would not be the day that she may act upon her feelings. But she knew that if it kept getting stronger, that she would not be able to hold it in any longer and she may just end up confessing to the man with the most passionate kiss she could ever give him. But for now, she was content in just giving him a kiss on the cheek.
