"Take your hands off of him!" He could hear a distinctive female voice, one that he recognized almost immediately. He couldn't help but watch just as Jessica Cruz, a fellow member of the Justice League, arrived at the area where he had been enjoying a few moments with his current date. He could not only see the complete confusion of his date, but the rage filled glare that the two of them were receiving from Jessica. "He is mine!"

"Jess, what is wrong with you?" He glanced at his current date, Arisia R'rab, who gave the angry female a confused look. He was too tired to be dealing with two members of the Green Lantern Corp who were very close to fighting each other. He even noticed just how the comment made Jessica's eyes burn red in jealousy, which only made him separate himself from the blonde haired female that was his date.

"Shut up, bitch!" Bruce didn't show it, but he was surprised by the fact that Jessica swore. He knew the Green Lantern member, never had he seen her curse loudly with rage at another person. But here he was, observing with his very own eyes that act of craziness from the female. He even saw just how Arisia was left with her words stuck on her throat, the situation escalating quite quickly. "This is only between me and my Brucie!"

"Please... Stop with this nonsense already, Jessica..." He spoke, his eyes narrowing slightly at the female across from him and Arisia. He didn't know just what kind of business the female had with him, his mind going blank. But his expression remained calm and serious, watching just how the female turned to him with a shocked and angered expression. "It is unbecoming of you, especially when you are interrupting my outing with Arisia"

"What?! Nonsense?! We are together, asshole!" She yelled, making him narrow his eyes at the female. He heard just how Arisia let out a small gasp. Sure, he had omitted to Arisia that the female he was with before was Jessica, but he had completely explained just what the female had done to him. He was not going to be able to forget about those actions, not anytime soon at least. "Or did you forget about that, Bruce?"

He sighed, grasping softly at Arisia's hands for a mere moment. He definitely didn't want to deal with Jessica Cruz, the female that he had given his love to. She was now the sole person that he wanted to avoid forever. The female that had crushed his heart as if it meant nothing at all. He had bottled many negative thoughts because of Jessica, thoughts that he kept hidden in the deepest part of his heart.

"You were together, Jessica!" He was a tad surprised to hear Arisia speak, the voice increasing drastically. He could see just how Arisia was glaring at the female, her stare being a tad sexy if he had to say something about it. "Don't think he didn't tell me about what you did to him!" He flinched back, remembering that Jessica was in the dark about him knowing what she did against him. He could see Jessica confused about the latest statement, and he was thankful that she didn't completely understand the message from Arisia. "You're a whore if you think you can just go back to what it previously was between the two of you!"

"What did you just call me?" It seems that Bruce would have to stand in between the two Green Lanterns. He just wanted to ignore Jessica and be on his merry way with Arisia by his side, but he could see that Jessica was not going to leave them alone. He took a step forward, getting the attention from both women. He glared at Jessica, carefully watching the surprised and slight hurt expression on the dark haired female member of the Green Lanterns.

"B-Bruce... I-"

"Let me stop you right there, Jessica..." His glare didn't diminish, which made the female flinch back harshly. He even noticed that she took several steps back, the fear she had of him seemingly returning once more. "It was your decision to end this, not mine..." His tone was grave, the rage inside of him wanting out. But he knew just how exactly to maintain his emotions in check. He was Batman after all, the hero known for his lack of emotions on the field. "It was also your decision to go to the arms of Simon, even when we were dating"

"Y-You... You k-knew?!" He saw just how her anger disappeared completely, only shock and fear being shown in her eyes. He no longer cared for the female in front of him, the heart ache she had caused him was still fresh in his mind to completely forget about her actions against him. He even saw just how Arisia was also glaring at Jessica, a bit thankful that Arisia was still on his side of the debate.

"Yes... It was hard to notice, especially when you two did it in the Watchtower while it was my turn for the shifts" He commented, his eyes closing. He still couldn't get the memory out of his head, still could forget. It was because of this that he had left the Justice League for almost a full year. It was in those months that he had gotten to meet Arisia. He was skeptical at first, but the blonde female was very understanding of his situation. "It was then that I noticed that you didn't care about us, that you never did..."

"No! Please, let me-"

"Please leave your sob story out of this, Jessica!" Arisia interrupted the female, which made him look at the blonde Green Lantern. He was quite surprised about her sudden intake into the conversation. Regardless of his feelings for Arisia, he was grateful for the woman coming to his aid. "He clearly doesn't care about any of your excuses!" Arisia walked straight to the other Green Lantern, his eyes looking just how angry Arisia was and the uncomfortable look that Jessica displayed on her face. It was a miracle that Arisia was still here dealing with Jessica alongside him. "Get out of his life already, just like you decided to do the moment that you slept with Simon"

"You... You can't ask me to-"

"You don't get to say anything about what we had, Jessica" Bruce was tired of this back and forth game they seemingly were having at the moment. He didn't care about Jessica any longer, he had moved on. Even as his eyes looked at the tears that were escaping from her green eyes, he still did nothing. There was nothing else to do in this situation. He had made things abundantly clear. He didn't want to see Jessica Cruz ever again. " What we had was a beautiful thing, but you ruined every single precious moment we had together..." He added, which only made Jessica cry even harder. He didn't enjoy what he was doing, he hardly enjoyed causing others pain. But he needed to completely remove Jessica from his life. While he knew that he couldn't obligate her to stay away from him, he definitely didn't want to be with her again. "You just have to watch just how I make my life with another woman now, just how I will care and love that woman that isn't you. How I will honor and protect the woman that stays with me through good and bad, just knowing that you could have had that... But completely blew it because of your actions"

He could only stare just how Jessica Cruz, the once fearless Green Lantern, reduced to a crying mess. He didn't have to wait long to see the female fly away in an erratic flight pattern. Even with the ring controlling her flight, he could still see just how sad she was. But Jessica was a part of his past, and it was a past that he didn't want to revisit any time soon. He sighed, turning his head towards Arisia, who had her cheeks colored brightly. He raised a brow, noticing just how the blonde female approached him.

"Bruce... How do you expect a woman, like me, not to love you when you say things like that?" He didn't even get the time to answer, the blonde member of the Green Lantern Corps kissing him straight on the lips. He could hear the soft moan that escaped from her lips, honestly enjoying the kiss between the two. He just gave into it, kissing back with as much passion that Arisia was showering him with. He felt just how she kept pulling him into her, her arms around his neck didn't let me move quite freely. But it was not a feeling he was against, just one that he didn't want to experience with the female that had betrayed him.
