She was annoyed. The fact that she had been able to trap every hero in sight quite easily, yet one single mortal without any powers eluded her traps was baffling. Years she spent perfecting her magic, reading tomes and even creating her own spells. To become the greatest magic user in the world and be able to have servants on her palm servicing her, yet this dark hero without any powers was more difficult to trap than a Nemean Lion. It infuriated her, not being able to get him to stand still. But it also impressed her, her eyes following every movement that the man was doing.
"I'm surprised... You're beginning to remind me of Sisyphus pushing his boulder up the mountain" She watched with mirth as the man opposed her, no fear in her eyes. It made her quite excited to see a man oppose her in such a manner. It felt invigorating, a pulse through her body that she quite liked. "But me?" Having someone to oppose you, just to defeat them in the end was simply marvelous. And it was with a smirk on her face that she began to pulse her magic, a shockwave that moved everything apart from the man in black. "I could keep this up all night!"
"Wait" She halted her powers briefly, yet not completely stopped from using her powers. She looked straight to the man, intrigued as to why she should wait for him. She could do whatever she wanted. She was the one in control, her magic being noticeable throughout the entire building. But there was no pressure in finishing. She wanted to savor the moment, not to completely finish her game. A game that was sure to make her the ruler of Earth and of many other worlds. "Magic always has a price"
"And your point is?" And her curiosity got the best of her, slowly levitating down to the level of the man that was opposing her. She really wanted to see just who was underneath the cowl that he was wearing, which quite honestly was aesthetically alright. She would have made him wear a simple mask, but who was she to judge the wares people wanted to wear on their person. She had many magical artifacts on her person, so she definitely was not the one who should criticize the outfit of the man. Though she was quite impressed that the man could wear such complex armor and still move normally.
"What is the price I have to pay to make you stop this madness?" On that, she smirked. She just loved when people would pay the price. She would have to think of something. But it had her in an ecstatic mood, glee actually pouring out of her body in pulses of magic. She did stop her magic, letting her feet touch the floor. She didn't quite notice it earlier, but the man was quite large. Yet all it made her feel was gleeful moments before the despair of paying the price.
"Isn't this quite interesting?" She muttered, her hand caressing the armored chest of the man. He didn't react to her touch, which made her give the slightest of frowns. Yet she didn't care at all, someone was finally playing their part of the game, and she was all in for it. "I want something that is very precious" She snarked, a smirk on her face as she activated her magic to float. She went behind him, her hand already moving towards his cheek. Yet he moved his face away from her touch. His actions were only making her more excited for what she wanted, mirth accumulating in her eyes as they shone as bright as amethysts. "Something that you've worked very hard to conceal... Something shattering"
She had made her choice, her lips just barely over his ear. She could notice that her breath was making him tense slightly, a luxurious smile making its way to her lips. Try as they might, no men could handle their lust under the figure of a goddess like herself. She was Circe, goddess of magic, and she was the one that is supposed to rule worlds. Yet, she could stop her plans if it meant to take the one thing that this man has hidden from the world. Just one thing that he has never told people around him.
"Prepare the stage" She blinked, watching carefully as the man walked towards the stage she was standing on previously. She has always loved to sing, even if people told her that she was a bad singer. Her family even gloated at how she had been the only one unable to sing with such gracefulness as they could. It made her angry, one thing that had been her escape from the pain and even that she couldn't do well. But as requested from the man, she prepared the stage. A pulse of her magic and everything was back where they belonged. Yet only the man and herself were in the building, only the two of them ready to see the price being paid.
Am I blue?
She blinked, her eyes widening slowly in amazement. She could hardly believe that the man who had been opposing her had such a beautiful voice. It could rival even the song of the sirens. The deepness in which he sang, the passion that he presented. She really couldn't explain it with words. It was simply perfection, nothing would be able to top this. Not even the god of music would be able to top this beautiful song.
Am I blue?
Ain't these tears in my eyes telling you?
She felt a tear down her cheek, sniffling softly as to not interrupt such a magnificent scene. She gasped silently, her heart throbbing quite hard against her chest. It was surreal, a simple song making her feel like she had been eating ambrosia. Her eyes just kept staring at the man who had captivated her with his voice. A voice that could not be explained, her ears still not believing that such melodic tone was coming from the man that was previously trying to stop her.
Am I blue?
You'd be too
She sighed with a smile on her face, her magic pulsing as silently as she could. She had lost the game, there was no other way around it. She could see deep into his eyes that the song meant quite a bit to him. She wanted to understand the meaning of the song, to be able to comprehend the man itself better. He had completely captivated her, she wanted to know more about the man on the stage. She never had felt like this before, not when she was even learning how to use magic. For the first time in millenia, she wanted to truly learn about something or rather, someone. Her eyes kept staring, unable to move her focus towards anywhere else.
If each plan that you had done fell through
