Anoter One Gone

fWhip's Perspective-

fWhip woke up and walked out of Grimlands.

Today, there was a meeting with the emperors in Mythlands.

fWhip flew over and saw that most people had already arrived.

Shelby was crying and people were trying to calm her down.

"What's wrong?" fWhip asked.

Sausage gave his fiancé a worried look and said, "Katherine. She's gone."

"What?!"

Shelby nodded sadly, "W-we were flying to the Overgrown, she dropped me off and she s-said that she would fly over the f-forests one more t-time. I didn't think anything o-of it but today she was g-gone! I'm sure she m-must've found Frost F-Ford, but I don't k-know where that is and, oh, it's all my f-fault!" She sobbed.

She then hugged Joey and cried into his shoulder as he tried to calm his short friend down.

"You don't know which forest she flew over?"

"I'm sure it was n-near the Overgrown." Shelby said before hiccupping, "I mean s-she had just d-dropped me o-off."

She wiped her eyes and tried her best to catch her breath.

fWhip started pacing and then said, "I need three people to go with me and fly over those forests."

"You may n-need more than t-that. The Overgrown f-forests are h-huge!" Shelby pointed out.

"Well, some of us need to stay here and help calm you down."

Lizzie and Joey raised their hands and with that, everyone else flew off to the Overgrown.

"Jimmy and Scott, you two fly over there." fWhip pointed west.

They nodded and flew off.

"Joel and Pix, east."

They flew off.

"And me and you, we'll go north."

They all took off in search for Katherine and Gem.

Eventually, fWhip gasped.

"What?"

"There's- there's a town!" fWhip pointed to the right of him and he and Sausage flew down close to the town.

They hid in the trees and watched the guards who were in front of the gate.

"How do we get in?" Sausage whispered.

fWhip shrugged and then said, "Get everyone else. I'll stay here."

Sausage hesitated and grabbed his fiancé's hands, "Are you sure?"

fWhip nodded.

"You'll stay here?"

fWhip kissed Sausage's cheek.

"I promise."

Sausage smiled, "I'll be right back." And he flew off.

fWhip watched as the guards paced around the gate.

Eventually, a guy with a crown walked out.

That must be Everett.

The two guards bowed to their king.

"Yes, hello. I am changing your routines." He said, "The princess is in the dungeon along with the bard. I need you two to look out for any more... visitors. You might want to start pacing around the forests."

"Are they here for the wizard, sir?" One guard asked, making fWhip lean in to listen better.

"Yes, I think they are. I am expecting a letter from her brother today- "

He was cut off by an owl flying over them.

"Ah, there it is now. Well, I better go. Make sure to start walking around and checking the forests. I imagine more of them are hiding out."

And with that, Everett left.

The guards looked at each other, nodded, and started walking around the forest.

fWhip got up and tip-toed away.

"We saw the guards." Sausage said as they all landed.

Shelby, Lizzie, and Joey had joined them.

"How are we going to get in?" Shelby asked, "Should we just fly in?"

"No that would be obvious." Pix said, "Maybe we should dig underground and get in like that."

"But that would take a while." Joey pointed out.

"Well maybe we should camp out and see what the guards are doing, memorize their routine." Lizzie suggested.

"Nah, we should just bash them and wear their clothes to sneak in." Joel said.

His wife sighed, "Joel, do you really think that would work? They'd see right through us."

"I think we should go with Lizzie's plan." fWhip said, "All of us shouldn't stay here though. Some of us should go back so then if we get caught, not all of us are. I, personally, want to camp out."

fWhip raised his hand and looked around.

Sausage also raised his hand along with Lizzie and Joel.

Pix, Joey, Shelby, Jimmy, and Scott all looked around at each other.

"I think us four should be fine." Sausage said and they put down their hands, "We'll try and send you an owl when we get the chance."

Just then, they heard a rustle in the trees.

They all looked over and saw an owl flying off towards Everett's castle.

Sausage laughed, "Speak of the devil!"

And they finished their plans.

Little did they know that they probably should've stopped the owl.

Before it told Everett what it heard.
