Bridget's Perspective-

Today was when fWhip was supposed to have a meeting with the other emperors.

Bridget walked up to his room and heard him pacing and muttering to himself.

She sighed and shook her head before walking.

fWhip gasped and quickly turned it into a cough, "Come in."

Bridget opened the door, "Hello fWhip." She bowed.

"Hey Bridget." fWhip smiled, "Look, I'm really sorry I've been mean to you the past day."

Bridget smiled as well, "It's okay fWhip. I know with Gem and now..." She trailed off and fWhip got what she meant.

She then walked up and hugged him.

fWhip hugged back and started crying.

Bridget patted his back and helped him calm down.

"Shh...it's okay." She said calmly.

fWhip caught his breath and apologized, "I just c-can't take it a-anymore. S-Sausage meant so m-much to me and now he's g-gone!"

"Hey, it's going to be alright. I know he loves you. Look, you have to go to your meeting now, but we can talk later, alright?"

fWhip nodded and grabbed his bag before flying off.

Bridget sighed as she made her way towards his desk where there was an ink stain on the table.

She also spotted a pile of papers.

She started to read them and gasped.

They were all letters to his sister. Letters he couldn't send.

The pain he was experiencing was worse than she had thought.

fWhip's Perspective-

fWhip landed in Rivendell and walked over to Scott's castle.

"Hello King of Grimlands fWhip." Lumi, Scott's houseworker, bowed, letting fWhip in.

"Hello Lumi. Have a good day?" fWhip asked as she led him to the dining room.

"Perfectly fine, thank you. How have you been?"

fWhip shrugged, "I've seen better days." He said grimly.

Lumi led him to his spot at the table and pulled out his seat.

"Oh, er- may I have a different seat tonight?" fWhip asked as he saw that he would be sitting next to Sausage.

"fWhip can sit over here Lumi!" Scott called, waving her over. He was sitting at the main seat and Katherine and Jimmy were sitting beside him.

Lumi nodded and let fWhip sit down next to Katherine.

"Thank you." fWhip nodded towards Lumi, and she bowed and left.

-

Scott stood up and the talking ceased.

"Welcome everyone! Thank you all for coming. As you read in my letters, we are here to help fWhip out with Gem. He has letters from her, and he has her diary. I have a map that we found a couple of weeks ago and today we are going to try and hammer out where she has gone."

Everyone nodded and watched as fWhip took out her letters and diary.

They passed them around and people were muttering and talking. Observing every detail.

"A dungeon!" Katherine gasped out loud when she saw it.

Sausage then sighed and got up.

He passed the map back to Scott, "Sorry Scott, but this is useless. This only shows our empires, nothing further than that. No other towns."

"Well, I've seen towns." Lizzie said.

Pix nodded, "Yeah there are plenty of desert towns."

"But that's... I don't think she took off in that direction." fWhip said, trying to remember, "And she was wearing her cloak, she wouldn't wear that to the desert. Besides, I know she hates warm weather."

Pix and Lizzie looked down.

"There might be lost towns." Jimmy recommended, "I know in the ocean there are patches of forests that we come across after a while of swimming. Maybe there's a town in there."

fWhip shrugged, "But there are so many forests."

He then groaned and got up, on the verge of tears.

"Thanks guys, but I'm gonna go."

"Well at least stay for the brunch." Scott beckoned him back.

fWhip waved him down, "No thanks. I'm not that hungry."

And with that he left.

Though he didn't fly back.

He instead walked over to Crystal Cliffs.

As he wandered around, the snow of Rivendell pierced his skin.

He didn't mind though.

He took a deep breath and smiled at the falling snowflakes.

I remember Gem loving this.

He stretched out his hands and started spinning around in the snow, thinking of his sister.

The way she would laugh and dance along with her brother in this weather.

The way she would make the snowflakes colder and shove them down her brother's jacket and make him freeze.

fWhip fell down onto the soft, powdery snow, and opened his eyes, smiling.

And that's when he heard it.

Her laugh.

He then shot up and looked around.

Nothing.

He shook his head and continued his journey to Crystal Cliffs.

He entered his sister's home and made himself a cup of tea.

He then sat on her couch and drank the warm liquid.

Then he heard it.

A crash.

He got up and looked to find the cause for the noise.

Just then, her cat walked down.

fWhip sighed in relief, "Hey Gandalf. I've been wondering where you've been. Walking around Crystal Cliffs, have you?"

fWhip pet the cat and saw that it had something in its mouth.

"Hey, what's that?" fWhip asked.

Gandalf dropped the letter and jumped onto the couch next to fWhip.

fWhip looked at it and was confused.

There were random paw prints and chicken scratch.

"Er- is some kind of joke?"

Gandalf didn't respond but he looked offended.

fWhip pocketed the letter and scratched Gandalf's head.

"You silly little cat. I don't know how you found ink, but it doesn't matter anyway since I can't understand your language."
