Death

Gem's Perspective-

I caught fWhip and broke his fall.

I started to cry.

No one could survive a firework head on.

I checked his pulse.

It was slow.

Too slow.

Fuck. I thought. I should've brought a bag full of healing potions with me. fWhip was right, so many things could go wrong with this plan.

I just got my brother back and I already lost him.

I silently cried.

We were far from the village so no one would find me.

At least that's what I thought.

I felt someone rub up against me.

I gasped but didn't turn around.

"Alright," I said, "You got me."

I heard a bark, and an Australian voice say,
"Tilly get back here! We have to keep running."

I looked over my shoulder and saw Pearl running up to me.

"Oh, Gem, what are you doing here? You should be back at your home."

"fWhip; he g-got attacked by a f-firework. Took it h-head on." I sobbed, "I s-should've brought h-healing potions w-with me."

I took a deep breath and looked up at her, "H-how did you get h-here?"

"Never mind that. We need to hurry. Move out of the way." Pearl said, grabbing a red splash potion from her cloaks pocket.

She splashed the healing potion on fWhip, and I held my breath.

But after a minute, he didn't move.

We were too late.

I continued to cry.

But then I heard someone breathing.

I looked up.

fWhip was breathing.

He was alive!

I ran over to him and hugged him.

"G-Gem?" He croaked, "I thought I died."

"I t-thought you d-did as w-well." I cried.

He smiled up at me.

I then got up and hugged Pearl.

She told me that she was hoping she could come along with us, and I agreed.

She ended up using fWhip's elytra and fireworks and we flew off towards Crystal Cliffs.

Pearl was carrying fWhip and I was carrying Tilly.

We landed in Crystal Cliffs and Pearl helped Trissa's wound.

"fWhip you're okay!" Trissa and tom exclaimed.

"I thought I died." fWhip said and I was crying, hugging him.

Sausage came over and hugged all of us.

Oli then walked over, laughing.

"I was so scared when Sausage came in. I thought he was a new guard!"

We all laughed but I was in too much shock.

It was hard to believe what we had just done.

One Week Later-

'The past week has been great.

We have been helping Pearl set up a farm empire with sunflowers in the forests near Mythlands.

We have also all helped Sausage and fWhip plan their wedding which is going to be tomorrow.

I'm very excited.

We all are.

But not as much as Trissa.

She's very excited for fWhip and Sausage.

She said that she believes in soulmates and knows that Sausage and fWhip were meant to be.

Oli's planning on playing music for their wedding and Tom is going to announce them.'

"Hey Gem? Do you have a sec?"

Gem closed her book, "What's up?" She asked her brother.

fWhip sat down on her bed next to her.

"I'm nervous."

"Why?"

fWhip rolled his eyes, "Why do you think? I'm getting married tomorrow! In 24 hours, Sausage will be mine!"

"What's your point?"

"I'm freaking out! I'm nervous! Getting married is a big thing!"

Gem hugged her brother, "You'll do fine. It's no big deal."

"I'm just happy your back." fWhip whispered.

"And I'm happy that you're safe." Gem smiled and looked down at her journal, "I was worried that I caused you pain. A pain that you could never get over."

"Well let's not focus on that now." fWhip said, looking a bit uncomfortable, "You have to help me set up my outfit."
