Third Person-Everett walked out to the gate.
It was getting late, and the sun was going down.
"King Everett, what are you doing here?"
"The visitors we have. There's a girl with pink hair and fish gills, a man with ginger hair, a man with black hair, and a man with brown hair that has a green streak in it. When you see them, do not attack them."
"But sir, they're the visitors you warned us about."
"Exactly. You know what, take the night off." Everett said before leaving.
The guards exchanged confused looks but walked in the gate.
fWhip's Perspective-"I'm going to check the guards' positions." fWhip said before sneaking off into the night.
He was surprised to see that the guards were gone.
What? Where are they?
He creeped around and saw that no guards were out.
-
"fWhip! There you are." Sausage ran up and hugged fWhip as he walked back to camp, "I was worried you got caught. Er- is everything okay? You look shocked."
Lizzie and Joel joined the conversation.
"They're- the guards- gone."
"What?" They exclaimed.
fWhip nodded and showed them around.
"That's so weird." Joel said.
"Well, we can go in now!" fWhip said, smiling.
"Wait," Lizzie stopped him, "What if it's a trap?"
"Fine, I'll go in. You guys can stay out here."
"No, I'm going with you." Sausage said and his fiancé smiled.
Lizzie bit her lip and sighed, "I still think it's a trap. Be careful. Never let your guard down." She told them and the soon to be husbands nodded.
She then looked at her husband and jerked her head to their camp, "Come on, let's send a letter to the others."
She and Joel left, and Sausage creeped up to the gate.
fWhip opened it and walked in.
It was like entering a ghost town.
No one was there.
It was empty.
The houses were dark, and the villagers were sleeping.
No guards were patrolling it felt...wrong.
fWhip looked at the castle.
"I'm going to head up there, you find the dungeon and free Katherine." fWhip whispered.
"But- "
"Please. Then run away back to camp. No actually, fly back home. Tell Joel and Lizzie to do the same."
Sausage hesitated and then kissed fWhip.
fWhip kissed back, putting his hand on Sausage's cheek.
When they broke apart, fWhip saw that Sausage was crying.
"Be careful. Promise me you'll be okay."
"I can't promise you that." fWhip smiled.
Sausage smiled as well, "I love you. I'm so happy you're my fiancé."
