fWhip's Perspective-
One Week Later-
fWhip paced in his house, his boyfriend, Sausage, watching.
"And you don't know where she went?" Sausage asked.
"Nope." fWhip said, still pacing, "She told me she would send me and owl once she gets into the town but nothing. It's been a week and I have no idea where she is."
"I'm sure she's okay. She's a wizard." Sausage said, trying to calm his boyfriend down.
Just then, an owl swooped in.
fWhip gasped and took the letter.
His smile faded as he recognized the handwriting as Scott's.
He threw the letter down and Sausage picked it up.
He started to read it aloud.
"Dear fWhip.
I have been meeting up with the other emperor's and we are all worried about Gem. We have been searching far and wide for her but we have seen nothing. Lizzie and Jimmy have been searching the ocean while me, Shelby, and Katherine have been flying around. Lizzie recommended checking Crystal Cliffs to see if Gem left a sign of where she went. It would be appreciated if you joined us, you did know Gem the best, and maybe we could find an answer. We will be at Crystal Cliffs when the sun is at its apex. Let us know if you will join and if not, we shall tell you if we find any information.
Sincerely, Scott."Sausage finished.
fWhip was still pacing, looking out the window for another owl.
"Well?" Sausage asked, refilling the letter.
"Well, what?" fWhip asked.
Sausage sighed, "Are you going to help them or not?"
fWhip bit his lip and his boyfriend stopped his pacing.
"Please tell me you're going to help." Sausage whispered, taking fWhip's hands.
"Er- I'm not sure." fWhip mumbled, looking to the ground, "I want to help but I don't know where she would go. I just want to go ahead and search for her myself. All she had was a map."
Sausage smiled sincerely, "I think you should help. You've got about an hour to think about it, though. I need to go, but I know you'll make the right decision. I love you."
He kissed fWhip and fWhip kissed back.
"I love you too." fWhip smiled as they broke apart.
Sausage then flew off.
-
fWhip landed in Crystal Cliffs and saw Katherine, Shelby, and Scott standing outside.
"Hey fWhip!" Katherine welcomed, "I didn't think we would see you."
fWhip nodded, too nervous to answer.
"We'll find her, fWhip, don't worry." Katherine said, and then she smiled and walked over to the gang.
"Alright. I think we should split up. Katherine and Shelby, you two search Crystal Cliffs Academy while me and fWhip will search her home."
Everyone nodded and split up.
fWhip ran up into Gem's home and immediately started searching her room.
"Every drawer, every nook and cranny, will be searched." fWhip said.
Scott nodded and started searching the bookshelves.
Eventually Scott gasped.
"What?!" fWhip demanded, running down to where Scott was.
Scott held up a map.
fWhip snatched it from Scott's hands.
Scott rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath but fWhip was too enhanced to bother listening.
The map showed the empires and a bit more land that was around them.
But that was it.
There were no marks or notes.
No hints at where she went.
fWhip sighed as he threw the map across the room.
Scott picked up the map and pocketed it.
"There's no point in doing that." fWhip said, trying to hold in his anger, "It's useless."
Scott shrugged, "Maybe it's not."
fWhip shook his head and decided to fly around.
As he flew over the Ocean Empire he realized that there were random islands that weren't explored yet.
Maybe there's a town there.
"fWHIP!"
fWhip looked down and saw Lizzie waving to him from the ocean.
He landed on one of Lizzie's lily pads and watched as she emerged from the water, her tail swishing in the sun.
"Hey Liz." fWhip waved, "Thanks for helping me look for Gem."
Lizzie nodded, "Course! We all are worried about her. You know, now that I think about it this is the first time we've all gotten along."
fWhip chuckled lightly and then said, "Look, Lizzie, I need to ask you something."
"Go ahead."
"Well, you know those islands around here, do you know if any towns or villages are built on them?"
Lizzie thought for a second and then shook her head, "Sorry fWhip, I don't. I do know that I went searching in the desert for temples and we came across a good amount of villages. Maybe Gem would be there."
"I'm not sure... she doesn't really like the sun."
Lizzie shrugged, "Well maybe she was flying over the town and then got attacked or something."
"Not that she would be!" Lizzie added when fWhip looked incredibly worried, "She is a wizard after all. I'm sure she's fine."
fWhip looked over his shoulder and sighed, "I think we should search the desert next, I'll talk to Pix tomorrow."
Lizzie nodded and patted fWhip's shoulder, "She'll be okay. I know you haven't heard from her but she's very skilled."
fWhip smiled sincerely and then flew off.
He had a feeling there were many more villages than they knew about.
Where are you, Gem?
