Jakes pov

In the morning i got up and got dressed and walked downstairs as mom made breakfast so i walked over to the table and sat down and ate my breakfast as i texted matt, after i finished eating i got up and put my dish in the sink and grabbed my bookbag and left the house as me and matt walked to school

" Im gonna get a dna test done " i said as matt looked at me

" Really? " Matt asked me

" Yeah, i wanna know more about my dad " i said as matt smiled as we walked into the school building

I walked over to my locker and opened it as i put my bookbag into my locker and closed it as i walked to class and sat at our table as we did our work, after class we walked to lunch and grabbed our trays and i grabbed my lunch and walked to my table as i sat down and ate as matt walked over and sat down

We ate our lunch and got up and walked through the hallway as i left the school and we walked to a building and i talked to a lady at the desk as she gave me some papers and i walked into the back as i sat down and a nurse walked into the back as i left the back and walked out of the building as matt followed me

" What happened? " Matt asked me

" It takes awhile for the results " i said as we walked to my house

We walked inside my house and walked upstairs to my room as i sat on my bed and grabbed my laptop and looked through my photos as my sister walked into my room

" Dinner's done " emily said as we walked downstairs and sat at the table

" I bought us tickets for a family trip " mom said

" Really? " I asked

" Yeah, if you want you can bring your friends " mom said as i smiled and ate my dinner

I got up and put my dish in the sink and walked upstairs as i walked into my room and layed in my bed and fell asleep

" Not yet " i said as i got up and walked upstairs and walked into my room as i grabbed a bag and opened my drawers as i grabbed my clothes and put them in my bag as matt walked into my room

" What are you doing? " Matt asked me

" Texting ethan " i said as i texted ethan and grabbed my bag and walked downstairs

I walked outside and put my bag in the car as ethan and benny walked over to us and emily walked outside as she looked at ethan and her smile sank to a frown

" Hey " i said

" Hey " ethan said

" Guys this is my sister emily " i said as Ethan's smile sank to a frown

" Hey " ethan said as em awkwardly smiled at ethan

" What are you doing here? " Em asked ethan

" Jake invited me " ethan said

" Cool " em said as we got in the car and we drove to a theme park

" How do you know em? " I asked ethan as me and him walked through the park with benny

" We used to date " ethan said

" Really? " I said

" Yeah " ethan said

" Why'd you guys break up? " I asked ethan

" I dont know " ethan said

" Do you have any siblings? " I asked ethan

" I have a sister named jane " ethan said

" Cool " i said as we walked into a store

" Yeah, what about you? " Ethan asked me as i looked at some clothes

" Just em " i said as i sighed

" What about your parents? " Benny asked me

" Well i live with my mom but i never knew my dad " i said as ethan looked at me

" What happened to him? " Ethan asked me

" I dont know " i said as we left the store

Benny's pov

After we left the store I grabbed Ethan's arm and he looked at me

" Does he look familiar to you? " I asked ethan

" No " ethan said as he walked away

After we drove back to our house me and ethan sat in his living room with jake as their was a knock at the door so ethan got up and opened it and rory walked into the house

" Hey " ethan said

" Hey " rory said as he walked into the living room

" Rory this is jake " ethan said

" Hi " rory said as he furrowed his brows

" Do you guys wanna play some video games? " Ethan asked us

" Sure " jake said as we walked upstairs and walked into Ethan's bedroom and sat at the computer

" How old are you? " I asked jake

" 14 " jake said

I looked at jake and he looked at me and i smiled at him as he smiled at me and i looked away as i walked downstairs and jake followed me as he felt his stomach and i gave him a confused look

" Are you okay? " I asked jake as he knelt onto the floor and ethan and rory walked over to us

" Yeah its just my stomach " jake said as he groaned

" Sit down " i said as jake sat on the floor and held his stomach

" Do you have any medicine? " I asked ethan

" Yeah " ethan said as he walked to the bathroom and i looked at jake

My eyes widened as Jakes eyes turned yellow and back to normal as ethan walked into the room so I grabbed Ethan's arm and pulled him into the living room

" Jake is a fledgling " i said as ethan got confused

" What are you talking about? " Ethan asked me

" His eyes turned yellow " i said as ethan sighed

" Jake " ethan said as jake walked into the living room and sat on the couch

" Jake, have you ever been to a senior party before? " Ethan asked him

" No " jake said

" Huh " ethan said as he started thinking

" What? " Jake said

" Nothing " ethan said as jake got up and left the house
