I whistle on my fingers, and a gym full of guys holding floorball sticks, standing in pairs facing each other and sending balls to each other, turns to me. Today is Wednesday, means it's student council. It also means I have to get Sebastian out of floorball practice, somehow. He doesn't normally go to  for the high school floorball tournament.

Since yesterday, he's going to be torturing these guys here almost every day of the week for the next two weeks, like he doesn't have about ten hockey players and five other guys playing floorball in there. Our gym teacher sometimes seems, that he must have been hit in the head by a swing as a kid or fallen down from a tree, because what he does sometimes is unbelievable.

One time the boys did push-ups until one of them fainred. They ran back and forth outside on the playground when it was twenty-seven degrees. Five of the boys got sunstroke, three got heatstroke, and everyone else were sunburned like tomatoes. His favourite discipline is swimming, if they saw that on the ministry, they'd be all over it. Last year he took them to the Beskydy Mountains for two days, reported it to the principal as a biology trip and off they went. In reality, they ran orienteering in the woods for two whole days with some other school that has a gym teacher just as crazy as us.

They slept in tents in the middle of the woods, and one of the guys almost got attacked by a bear. Yes, a bear. The kid went to pee normally, went back again, but when he was ten meters away from the tent, he saw a bear looking at him. Luckily, he managed to run to the other boys in the tent and, thank God, nobody got hurt. The best part of the whole thing anyway is that he does it all with them.

He cranks, he runs in 30 degree weather, he swims at the speed of light and he did that orienteering run with them in those mountains too. He does everything with them. Last year we did some physicals at the beginning of the year and there was a beep test. Sebastian did it on an A-star, because of his form, but the teacher wouldn't believe it. He was in there with him doing the run for the whole hour, Sebastian was still better than him, and it ended when some old speaker, they were playing the signal through just blew up.

This is a prestigious high school, the most prestigious high school in the whole Czech Republic and Slovakia. If the principal didn't have a sister in the ministry telling her when they come in for an inspection, the whole place would have been shut down long time ago. A speaker exploding in the middle of gym class, a crazy gym teacher, a bear, a history teacher who fucks female students, and much more.

I'm gonna steal a camera from the computer lab and film the whole thing. Then I'll sell it to Netflix and get even richer. I'm also surprised no one's ever sued him. Vondrak is a former canoeist who volunteered in army for two years. He's about 35 years old, and he must have gone crazy in the army. He's never been to court, even though students collapsed more than once in gym class.

"Miller, let's go." I yell at him and he's about to go, only it's Vondrak who walks up to him and lets him know he's not leaving for the next two hours. I'm gonna kill that teacher. Sebastian won't be here, he's coming with me to student council, which doesn't start for another half hour anyway, but I need to get something else ready. But I'm counting on arguing with him for at least ten minutes.

Everyone's still sending each other balls and I'm still waiting in the gym doorway. When Vondrak looks in my direction for the third time, he starts to get angry. "This isn't a show here. Go away immediately, Veselska. This is serious training." Serious training. These guys would like to smash that floorball over his head. "You didn't hear me, get out!" He yells at me across the gym, but I do the exact opposite.

I march right up to them. Vondrak is furious, and the boys are getting their asses kicked. "Veselska!" He yells. He's all red and the steam's about to come out of his head. "Get out now!"
