3rd POV
The next morning, as Cole pulled himself from the comfort of the large bed, he shuffled into the onsuite bathroom to take a shower. Once he was done, he changed into his gi he wore during the Tournament of Elements. He wandered out of his bathroom and got a jumpscare at the sight of his servant guide.
"Ah! What The Fuck!" He cried as he placed a hand on his chest and door frame; dropping his pyjamas to the floor. "Bento! You have to stop scaring me like that!"
"Sorry Mr. Cole..." the latter replied. Bento was a beaver hybrid. His animal features consisted of buck teeth with braces, round ears and a strong tail.
"Its alright. But I'm gonna tell Kearin to put a bell on you." Cole chuckled as he picked up his clothes and put them on the end of the bed.
"You ready to start your training?"
"Yep! Lead the way, Bento!"
The duo headed out of the room and down multiple halls before Bento pushed open the doors that lead to a large courtyard. Bento scurried over to where the other servents were waiting and allowed Cole to study the area.
He then joined the group who stood, in their own Tournament Robes, in the centre of the area.
"When did you get a Tournament Gi, Morro?" Cole questioned as he stopped by the group.
"It was lying on the end of my bed when I woke up this morning." The latter replied. "The same situation happened with both Zane, Nya and Skylor."
Cole looked at the other three and Morro was right. Zane stood there, wearing his own gi, in a vibrant white while Skylor was wearing her own in an amber colour and Nya's was a grey with aqua accents.
"This Kearin guy is starting to get really weird." Nya piped up.
"Yeah!" Jay jumped in. "How did he know about the tournament of Elements in order to get our gis and one for Zane, Morro, Nya and Skylor?!"
"Who knows." Skylor shrugged. "But this is definitely better than what I wore during the actual Tournament. This is definitely much more movable."
"And this is so much better than that freaky Kabuki dress." Nya agreed.
Just then, Kearin appeared with Varian by his side, as usual. He was wearing a completely new attire but with the addition of his armour's mask and helmet.
"Good Morning Ninja!" He smiled, hands behind his back. "I see you found my little gifts...!"
"We did." Zane replied. "But how did you know these were the outfits from the Tournament of Elements?"
"Details, Details...!" Kearin waved his hand. "Now. Who's ready to begin stage one of their training?"
The group exchanged glances before nodding with confidence.
"I must warn you." Kearin continued as Varian handed him a golden blade. Kearin then slashed the air a few times before holding it by his side. "I will only be relying on my combat skills, lion abilities and swordsmanship. You can choose to use your elemental powers but there is an array of weapons along the back wall that'll be at your disposal. When You're ready, begin."
Kearin wandered back, slashing his sword a few more times when Varian scurried upto him.
"You're not going to use you abilities?" the red panda whispered.
"Fuck no." Kearin whispered back. "If I did, then it'll just prove their already enlightened suspicions of me. They already believe I'm a dopple-ganger of their teammate."
"But you are their teammate...!"
"But they don't know that and that's how I want it to stay until further notice."
