Zane wandered the halls, without his guide. He had managed to make a mental map of the castle in his head so he knew where he was going. He wandered around and light cast bright archway like forms on the ground and created silhouettes of anything in the way.

Red and gold accented tapestries hung on the walls. It was al so wonderfully decorated that it left the Ice Master in awe. As he wandered he saw Prince Kearin exit his room and head down the hallway. Quickly ducking behind a supprot pillar, Zane stayed outta sight. Once Kearin was gone, Zane felt the uneasy urge to look into the Prince's quarters. The entire team had their suspicions of the boy and they wanted answers to so many questions but Kearin refused to answer.

He would be doing right for the team by invading the Prince's privacy and as a result; doing wrong by the Kingdom that wa skind enough to allow them a place to stay and teach them Beastjitzu. With his gut telling him otherwise, Zane slipped into the room in which the door was left slightly open by accident.

Once inside, Zane carefully closed the door with a soft click. He then turned and looked around the room. There were royal red curtains with golden tassled draw-cords. He continued to look when something caught hid eyes. The bedside table. The top draw was slightly ajar.

Throwing a quick glance at the door, Zane made his way over and opened up the draw fully. He reached in and pulled out a vrinze framed photo. His eyes widened as he noticed the photo. It was a picture of the team. Inside the draw, Zane pulled out another one. This one was of a selfie of Kai being caught in the act of kissing Skylor on the cheek.

"What Are You Doing In Here?!" Came an angry voice.

Startled, Zane turned but dropped the frames; causing the glass to shatter. The look of betrayal that was written on the Prince's face was unmatched by the guilt Zane was currently feeling.

"I-I'm S-sorry...!" Zane stammered as he wringed his hands with nerves.

"You Aren't Supposed To Be In Here!" Kearin continued as he pushed his way past and dropped to the picture frames; Tail limp underneath his velvet red cape.

"Why didn't you tell us...?" Kearin remained silent so Zane had no choice but to continue. "We've been worried about you, Kai..."

"I... I know..." Kearin stood up; glass crunching under his armour's boots as he turned with the broken group picture frame in his hands and ears sadly pressed against his head.

"You've been here all along. You've been with us this whole time but lied to say you never came, only to continue to be someone you're not."

"You don't understand... This is who I am. I found a letter from Ray that told me he and Maya weren't my biological parents but my guardians. I then found a ruby encrusted bronze crown, a stuffed lion plush and a scroll that contained my favourite fairytale from when I was younger. The Story of The Beast Master. Only upon coming here did I realise it was a prophecy. My prophecy..."

Kai turned to face Zane and the Nindroid noticed tears run down the boy's cheeks. Zane may not be good at detecting sarcasam and has trouble reading another person's emotions, but he could tell how hurt his friend was by the pain that laced his words.

"I didn't want to say anything to you guys as I didn't know how you'd all react." Kai continued as he took of his helmet and mask, before sitting on his bed.

"What do you mean?" Zane asked as he sat next to him.

"Well you tell me how'd you react if a teammate, someone who you've know for almost 2 years, suddenly comes upto you one day and says; Hey Guys, Guess What?! Turns Out I'm Under Guardianship, Of The Two People I Was Led To Believe Were My Parents, Only To Find Out I'm The Lost Prince Of A Kingdom We Didn't Even Know Existed! How do you think that would lay with the team?"
