---- Year Two ----

It had been almost two months since I had last been at Hogwarts, since I had last seen my friends. I missed them all so much. I had been writing letters to them since the very first week of break. Getting their letters back always brightened my day and made being away from them a little easier. Well, when Ron and Hermione answered anyways. Harry hadn't sent a single letter. Victoria had told me about the Dursley's and how they were not a fan of magic. I figured they were the reason Harry hadn't been writing and I just hoped that he was okay.

I was sat in the living room, reading one of my new books, when I heard a tap on the window. I looked over to see Harper in the glass patio door with a letter tied to his leg. I walked over and opened the door, letting him inside. He flew up and landed on my shoulder. I untied the letter and saw that it was addressed to me. I began to open it as Harper flew over to get some food and water. I pulled the letter from the envelope and and saw that it was from Ron.

Em,

Fred, George, and I flew in our dad's car to go pick Harry up from the muggles last night, and brought him back to our house. He's doing well and is going to be staying with us for the rest of the summer break. I was writing to ask if you would be interested in going to Diagon Alley with us tomorrow around noon? I've sent a letter to Hermione to ask her as well.

Hope to see you soon,
Ron

I smiled as I read the letter. Harry was doing well and was with Ron. "Vicky!" I yelled out.

"What?" She called back from her room.

"What are we doing tomorrow?" I asked.

"Nothing, why?" She asked, walking into the room.

"Harry's at the Weasley's and Ron wrote a letter asking if we would like to go to Diagon Alley with them tomorrow at noon." I told her. A smile crossed Vicky's face.

"That sounds very fun. Let's do it." She told me. I quickly ran over to the table and grabbed a bit of paper as well as ink and a quill. I then got started on my letter to Ron.

Ron,

You and your brothers are one crazy lot, you know that? As much as I would love to give you a whole lecture about how dangerous your adventure to get Harry was, I'm sure your mum has already taken care of that. Not to mention, Hermione's letter is also on its way. About tomorrow; Victoria and I will be there! Can't wait to see all of you again!

With love,
Emily

P.S. I have a small birthday present for the boy who must not know how to write letters in the envelope as well.

I then ran up to my room and grabbed Harry's present from my drawer. About a month ago, Victoria had found an old photo album. Within was a picture of my mum, Harry's mum, and Harry's dad all sitting in the Potter's living room looking at baby Harry who was laying out on the floor in front of them. My mum's rounded stomach told me that I had not quite been born yet, but I knew it must not have been much longer after the picture was taken. I asked Victoria if I could send it to Harry and she had agreed that he should have it.

I ran back down and grabbed a smaller piece of paper and began to write.

Hello Harry,

Happy Birthday! I was planning to hold onto this until I saw you next as you haven't been answering any letters, but since you're with Ron now, I feel that it's safe to send. I hope you have a great day, can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Love,
Emily

I put the picture into the folded letter and put it into the envelope with Ron's letter. Harper flew over and held out his leg. "Hold on, I'm going to write one more." I told him, scratching between his ears. Harper gave a hoot and put his leg down. I grabbed one more piece of paper and began writing.
