As soon as Hagrid and Harry reached the Hospital Wing, Madam Pomfrey readied two beds. She had Hagrid set Emily down in one and Harry sit on the other. Hagrid then left the Hospital Wing as Gryffindors from the team and the stands entered. Madam Pomfrey rushed out to grab something. Seconds later, she came rushing back in. "Oh, Mr. Malfoy, stop making such a fuss. You can go." She told him. Malfoy had been put in one of the beds earlier for a quick checkup. Nothing had been wrong and Madam Pomfrey decided he could be dismissed. "Out of my way. Out of my way." Madam Pomfrey told the crowd of Gryffindors. "Should have been brought straight to me. I can mend bones in a heartbeat, but growing them back..." Madam Pomfrey trailed off as she walked over to Harry's bedside table.

"You will be able to, won't you?" Hermione asked her.

"I'll be able to, certainly. But it'll be painful." Madam Pomfrey told both Hermione and Harry. She then began to pour the liquid from a bottle labeled 'Skele-Gro' into a cup. "You're in for a rough night, Potter. Regrowing bones is a very nasty business." She handed the cup to Harry to take a sip. Once he had tasted the Skele-Gro, he spit it out.

"Well what do you expect? Pumpkin juice?" Madam Pomfrey asked, taking the cup back and refilling it. She handed it back to Harry who drank it, making a disgusted face as he did. Madam Pomfrey then walked over to Emily. "Let's see what the damage here is."

"Lucky that Harry stopped Professor Lockhart from getting to Emily, otherwise there'd be nothing left of her but flesh." Fred told her. Madam Pomfrey looked over Emily, noting the gash on her forehead. She used her wand to scan Emily's body and found the problems.

"Three broken ribs, a fractured skull, a mild concussion, and a gash to the forehead." Madam Pomfrey told them. Everyone looked over at Emily, thinking about how painful that would be. "Not to worry," Madam Pomfrey said, going into her office. A few moments later, she came out with two different bottles, some bandages, and a pair of pajamas. She pulled the curtains around Emily's bed before repairing her ribs and putting Emily in her pajamas. She then pulled back the curtain and began to do the rest. She poured liquid from one of the bottles into a cup and poured it down Emily's throat to help with her concussion. She then dabbed a cloth with the liquid from the other bottle and put it on Emily's gash. She then wrapped it up with the bandages, and with a flick of her wand, fixed Emily's fractured skull. "I'm not sure when she'll wake up, but she'll be okay. For now, let her rest." Madam Pomfrey instructed.

People surrounded both Harry's and Emily's bed. They talked to Harry and to one another. Colin, who arrived late due to getting lost, arrived and told everyone how Emily had saved him, but had been hit by the Bludger.
Slowly, as the evening went on, people exited the Hospital Wing. Hermione and Ron stayed the longest as their best friends were both injured. The three of them were worried about Emily, especially Harry. If the Bludger had done that to his arm, he could only imagine what it could have done to her. Eventually, though, Hermione and Ron wished Harry a goodnight and headed back to the Common Room. Not long later, Madam Pomfrey turned in for the night and Harry changed into his pjs. He then laid down and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep before the pain in his arm from his bones regrowing became too much.

"Kill. Kill. Time to kill."

The sound of the voice woke Harry up. He sat up from his bed and looked around the Hospital Wing. After not initially seeing anything, he grabbed his glasses from his nightstand and slipped them on his face. Harry looked back up at the ceiling, the voice seeming to come from there. Harry suddenly looked back down in front of him, a sudden pressure on the bed catching his attention. He was met with familiar yellow-green eyes. "Hello."

"Dobby?" Harry questioned, startled by the house-elf's sudden appearance. He said it a little louder than he meant to and felt guilty when he heard Emily stir in her sleep.
