A month had finally passed and the Polyjuice Potion was ready. No one since Justin and Nearly Headless Nick had been petrified, but that didn't mean it wouldn't happen again. It was the start of Christmas break, but luckily, Draco and the others we were turning into were all staying for it. I had written a note to Victoria a few weeks ago, explaining that I had some important things to do at Hogwarts and couldn't return home for the break.
It was dinner time. Hermione and I had a few more things to prepare before tonight, so we had told the boys to go and eat. After twenty minutes, Hermione and I were making our way to the Great Hall. We walked in to see Ron and Harry down a bit from anyone else. The two of us went to the front to grab some food before making our way over and sitting across from the boys. "Everything's set. We just need a bit of who you're changing into." Hermione told them.
"Crabbe and Goyle." Harry said. Hermione nodded.
"We also need to make sure that the real Crabbe and Goyle can't burst in on us while we're interrogating Draco." I told them.
"How?" Ron asked.
"We've got it all worked out." I told him. Hermione reached into her pocket and I reached into mine, pulling out the cupcakes we had made.
"We've filled these with a simple Sleeping Draught." Hermione informed them.
"Simple, but powerful." I said as we set them on the table.
"Now, once they're asleep, hide them in the broomstick cupboard and pull out a few of their hairs, and put on their uniforms." Hermione told them. Harry and Ron looked at one another, shocked and somewhat disgusted.
"Whose hair are you ripping out then?" Ron asked us.
"We've already got ours." I told him. Hermione and I reached into our pockets again and pulled out our flasks filled with our hairs.
"Millicent Bulstrode. Slytherin. I got this off her robes." Hermione told them. I held mine up in view.
"Pansy Parkinson. She tried jinxing me in the hallway the other day, so I used the body-binding curse on her and ripped out some of her hair." I told them.
"We're going to go check on the Polyjuice Potion." Hermione stated.
"Make sure that Crabbe and Goyle find these." I told the boys, pushing the cupcakes closer to them. Hermione and I then stood up and made our way back to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
----
"Back so soon?" Myrtle asked when we walked back in. Myrtle was here almost every time we came in to check on the potion. "Why don't the boys come with you anymore?" The last few times Hermione and I have come to check on the potion was between classes. It was easier if it was just the two of us as people would most likely see Harry and Ron walking into the girls bathroom.
"They'll be here soon, Myrtle. They've just had some things to do first." Hermione told her, stirring the potion.
"Oh. Harry's coming, is he?" Myrtle asked, getting giddy. I rolled my eyes. Myrtle had developed a bit of an obsession with Harry, something I wasn't too fond of.
"He's coming for the potion, Myrtle. Not for you." I informed her. Myrtle flew over and was right in my face.
"That's not a very nice thing to say!" She yelled.
"I'm just telling you as it is." I calmly told her. Myrtle broke out in tears and cried as she flew over into one of the stalls and flushed herself down the toilet. "Good riddance." I sighed. I then looked over at Hermione who had a smirk on her face. "What?"
