AN: The thing y'all never expected, but boi I'm doing it. Let's be clear: I've never really cared for Archie Sonic, but I will say that the older comics did give me some laughs as well as the newer ones before the beginning of IDW, but I sure love Nicole(only character I ever cared for in Archie actually). Archie ended on their Unleashed Arc, which I enjoyed skimming through for Halloween last year. It's also very fun to skim through in general actually. How they wrote the Werehog in the beginning? Chef's kiss man. Absolutely loved it. Even how they wrote the Perfect Dark Gaia endboss was so dang awesome. You know what they say: they make the Werehog darker, this means my Sonic is gonna be darker in Archie. So heads up by the way: since Eggman is the one who captures Chip in Archie and summons the Gaia Colossus in the first place, it will be in this version of HoaG, SoaW unlike in the normal game version. Perfect Dark Gaia still isn't here, but the final battle actually includes Abyss the Dragon, who wasn't present in the normal version of HaoG, SoaW. Now here I'm really gonna be basing it off of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's ending just like the normal version, so get ready cause it's gonna get REAL crazy.
*Sonic the Werehog and Abyss the Dragon both teamed up to defeat Eggman's Egg Dragoon after when he captured Chip and used his powers to summon the Gaia Colossus. Abyss was seen cheering happily as the two arrived to where Chip was being held prisoner.*
Sonic: Hey Buddy! Miss me?
Chip(happily): Sonic! I was so worried! *Sees Abyss.* What is she-
Abyss: Chip-er, I mean, Light Gaia. Eggman backstabbed me. Me and Sonic teamed up to kick his butt.
Sonic: She's a friend now.
Chip: O-Oh....
*Sonic takes the lid off of Chip's container and he hugs him.*
Sonic: Haven't I told you already? The good guys always win!
Chip: Yeah! Well....you both made it intense!
Abyss(laughing): Haha, thanks Light-
Chip: Chip will still do.
Abyss: Well then. Thank you Chip.
Chip(letting go of Sonic, laughing): Anytime!
Sonic: Oh, just you wait you two! Now that we've got the Chaos Emeralds, I can- *Stops as he falls to the ground, screaming in pain.*
Abyss and Chip: Sonic?!
Chip: Sonic, what's wrong?
*Meanwhile, with the Freedom Fighters.*
Bunnie: Sally! You might want to hurry this up hon!
Sally: I'm....trying! The system is bugging out!
Antoine: Look! Ze Dark Gaia energy is leaving ze Badniks!
Bunnie: Not only don't they look like they've got animals in em, but it seems as if it's all headed towards someplace else!
*Tails and Annabelle are seen in the Tornado.*
Annabelle: You guys! The city is collapsing!
Tails: We're coming to pick you up!
Sally: We're not done yet! We've got to disable this spire before- *Gets cut off by an explosion.*
Bunnie: It's too late! We have to go. Now!
*Bunnie grabs Sally and Antoine as the trio land on the Tornado. Annabelle sighs in relief, but starts to wonder where the Dark Gaia energy was headed to.*
*Back with Sonic, Chip, and Abyss. Abyss was grabbing onto Sonic, who screamed even more as the energy left his body. She then lets him go as Sonic returns to normal, for now.*
