Mephiles the Dark and Iblis Headcanons

Time for more Sonic headcanons cause well my mind is full of them as well as me agreeing and liking other headcanons that people have made.

Alrighty this one is around everyone's favorite Sonic villain Mephiles the Dark(not even surprised that he and Infinite are my favorites the ultimate mercenary squad will rise!)as well as the fire demon Iblis. It's true that the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 are not canon due to the timeline reset at the end of the game. I thought the game had a decent story despite being not canon and also for being a rushed game.

Mephiles is in my normal Sonic universe, but after the timeline reset, he's in a deep sleep and gets awakened later on down the road. The headcanon is that he is still around after Sonic 2006, but has no memory of the game whatsoever. Mephiles still remembers his name and that he causes destruction, but other than that, he just couldn't remember the events of the game nor did he remember that he was the one of Solaris's halves. Basically it's like he has amnesia.

My Dark Gaia kid Abyss is the one who awakens him by accident. Because of her, Mephiles changed his world shattering and chaotic ways and settled with her as his girlfriend. In the normal universe, he lives with Abyss and her father down in the Underground after having no where else to go as well as the three hedgehogs finding it weird that Mephiles is apart of their group.

I had to think of some ideas for Iblis after looking at his wiki page. I was considering making he a she, but after finding out that he was actually a he, I decided keep the dude a he. His title would be Iblis the Flame, since he is a fire demon and the power of the god of time and the sun Solaris.

Iblis would be very similar to Mephiles: when he is also awakened later on, he too has amnesia, meaning he also doesn't remember the events of the game or the fact he was one of Solaris's halves asides from his name and the future world he ravaged in his wake. During his awakening, Iblis also gains a Mobian appearance and a crystal form very similar to his third form and yes, Iblis couldn't revert back to his former self meaning he's permanently stuck in a Mobian form with a crystal form based on his third appearance.

He still keeps his aggressive personality, but after meeting Abyss, he becomes nicer and more of a calm and determined being. The two halves of Solaris would slowly remember the events of 2006, leaving them in a huge dilemma. Mephiles especially, since he really had grown close to Abyss and had changed his ways because of her. It was settled that Mephiles decided to stay with Abyss, and Iblis would become a close friend of Abyss's while staying a secret from the hedgehogs and still being somewhat villainous still. Silver and Blaze especially.
