"Don't run in the house Kevin", Lena shouted when she heard the little boy around their tiny apartment. She sighed.

"Okay, Mummy", the only thing Lena was thankful for was that her son was quite obedient and would do anything to make her happy. For a six years old, he was quite brilliant.

Even to Lena, her life seemed chaotic, she just couldn't seem to get it right, a single mother, working 3 jobs just to provide a living for her son. She sighed for the umpteenth time that day.

"Come on Kevin, it's time for school"

"Okay, Mummy, I'm ready", Kevin showed up in their tiny kitchen, all dressed up and ready for school. " Yay! Pancakes", he cheered after laying eyes on his favorite breakfast.

"Yes, it's pancakes, eat fast, so we can leave", Lena smiled at her son.

"I will be home late tonight Kevin." Lena said.

"Okay Mummy." He dig into his food and ate happily.

Lena could not tell her six years old son about how she worked at a club as a stripper just so they could eat, that would bring shame to the little boy as his classmates would bully him.

It was bad enough as he didn't have a father.

"Bye bye Mummy." Kevin waved before rushing into the bus.

Lena waved back, her heart aching with the weight of her struggles. She turned and slowly walked towards the subway station, dreading the long hours she would spend at the club tonight.

As she walked, she couldn't help but think about how much easier her life would be if she just gave in and let one of the men at the club take her home. She knew it was wrong, but it was hard to resist the temptation when she was so tired and desperate.

But as she got closer to the club, she steeled herself. She reminded herself that she was doing this for Kevin, for their future. She couldn't afford to mess it up by making a stupid mistake.

She took a deep breath and pushed open the door to the club, walking in with a forced smile on her face. The music was already thumping, and the smell of alcohol and sweat filled the air.

Lena made her way to the dressing room, changing into her skimpy outfit.

The crowd was roaring with laughter as John, the comedian told his joke, it was a riot.

"That's hilarious John!"

"And what do you say to that Dawn?"

"I say you are hilarious!"

"And very handsome." She purred, taking his hand and putting it down her cleavage.

The crowd went wild as they cheered, shouting jeers and insults at the couple. Dawn was a stripper too in the same club as Lena.

John looked at the crowd and smiled.

"Well, I think it's time to get this party started."

As the lights dimmed, the opening beat of a popular club song could be heard.

There was a boom of fireworks for effect as the curtains opened up.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the show of the year! Are you ready to get naughty?" John yelled into his microphone.

Lena tried her best to put on a smile and be as sensual as she could.

After her show, Dawn approached her.

"The boss wants to see you", the bouncer said, stepping aside to let Lena in.

"What did he want?" Lena asked.

"No idea, he just said that he wants to see you"

Lena nodded and made her way to the VIP room. She knocked on the door and it opened by itself.

"There you are", the boss said, smiling at her.

"Sorry sir, I was coming", Lena said with a smile.

"Come here," he said, patting the seat next to him.

Lena made her way to the seat and sat beside him. A bit too close for comfort.

"Don't you just look beautiful tonight", he said, stroking Lena's cheek.

"Thank you" She replied nervously.

"I have an important offer for you," he said.

"Oh?"

The man pulled out a gun and pointed it at Lena.

"Just stay quiet and you won't be harmed, I am sure you would like to keep your job, right?"

She nodded, wide-eyed.

"Good girl." He smiled, turning off the light.

She felt his hands on her waist, slowly sliding their way down, caressing her curvy figure. He leaned in to whisper in her ear.

"You are not like the other strippers out there, you are different."

She couldn't help but think, she wouldn't be such a bad girl, if she was different.

"I can make your dreams come true, I can give you a nice house and a car".

He whispered seductively as his hands continued their journey down and stopped at her hips.

"I can also give you enough money to look after your son". He said, but she stood her ground.

Lena looked the dirty man in the eyes and did what she never imagined she could.
