After the terrible lunch, I got back into the kitchen again. Nat told me to continue the task I had been doing for the whole day and I obediently did what he asked me to do. I wondered where they had found all the animals, but I guess that had been hunting and saving for the last year. 100 Slices later I was absolutely exhausted. It seemed such a simple thing, but it did exhaust me.

Dinner came soon enough, but this time we had to eat separated. Girls ate with girls, boys at with boys. I decided to settle down next to Zoe. She was about to fall asleep when I sat down. ''Hey.'' She shortly said when she noticed I sat down. I greeted back and took a bite from the meat. The meat wasn't very tasty, but at least it was something. ''Why are you so down?'' I asked Zoe and she looked up. ''I can't find Gabriella. She wasn't at work, which means she will get a punishment but I still haven't found her.'' Zoe said worried and took a bit of her meal. ''She'll be alright. Maybe she's having the monthly issues?'' I asked, trying to be a bit funny. Zoe didn't see the funny side of it and continued talking about her concerns. ''She's only 12, she's not a strong woman yet...'' Zoe whispered. ''She'll be back before 8, don't you worry.'' I encouraged Zoe but wasn't really sure about what I said.

After dinner Zoe had to return to her job, while Nat told me I was done for the day. Apparently I had one of the better jobs which meant that I had more free time. It was 7 o'clock and I decided to go to the patio. No one was around, everyone was still working. I heard the air smashing into the leafs, and concentrated on every single sound.

''Don't do this to me! Please!'' I heard a scream. I immediately looked up into the direction from where the sound came. It wasn't far away, but something was blocking a part of the sound. ''You need to understand. We have to survive.'' I heard some heavy man voice say. The girl didn't reply with words, but with the exact same sound that Joe made when he had duck tape on his mouth. Then I heard a frightening sound, an axe slamming through human meat. I hadn't heard that sound often, but I knew what it sounded like and I immediately got goosebumps. Did they really kill the girl? She sounded like she was still a young girl. Maybe it was Gabriella, but I couldn't be sure since I hadn't heard Gabriella's voice.

I didn't want to think about it, and decided to go to the bedroom. Zoe was already in there, but Jessica wasn't. I wanted to tell Zoe about what I found out, but I knew there were cameras in the rooms so I couldn't. ''I'm immediately off to bed. Good night, Zoe.'' I said, fake smiling again, and tucked myself in. Zoe didn't reply. I bet she was still concerned about Gabriella. The more I thought about it, the more I convinced myself. Gabriella was dead.

Next morning Zoe woke me up again. She was such a sweet heart. I got into my butcher's clothes and walked straight for the kitchen. Apparently you didn't get breakfast but we still got lunch and dinner. At lunch I walked out again, and found Joe and Alfie on the other side a huge fence. Everyone was talking about the new fence which was separating the girls from the boys. My eyes met Joe's who was softly shaking no. I pressed twice with my finger onto my nose and Joe replied with a nod. When I mouthed Alfie, Joe put his thumbs up. I sighed relieved but looked to my shoes. I missed my friends already. When I looked up I noticed Joe was rubbing his cheeks which made me nod.

After dinner I hurried to my bedroom again. I looked at the camera in the corner and changed it's direction a tiny bit. Now I could put my pillow in the perfect spot so no one would notice I was gone. After that I sneaked out and hurried to the kitchen. No one was around anymore. All the butcher's and chef's were either in the patio or in their bedrooms. I explored the kitchen and tightened my grip around a big knife. My eyes automatically scrolled to the huge doors. This was where the meat came through ever day. This had to be the source from the meat. I looked at my options. Option one was to hide myself and wait for someone to lock the door. Option two was to go exploring straight away. I decided to think about safety and hide myself in a counter. It took hours before I heard a key going into the lock. I got out of the counter and searched for a light. Instead of finding a light, I found the big metal doors. With the slightest push they opened, which looked a bit suspicious.

I continued the exploring and walked into the second room. I closed the doors behind me and tried to find a light button since Camp KIDE did have electricity somehow. Soon I found one and I turned it on. I immediately noticed this was the place where they cut the animals in big squares so it would be easier for me to cut little pieces of it. Nothing looked suspicious in this room so I decided to walk further.

There were to doors. The left one was red and the right one was blue. I decided to go for the red one since this probably meant that I wasn't aloud to go in there. I quickly turned off the light again and walked to the red door and opened it. My ears explored the room before my eyes did. Nothing suspicious which meant I could walk in. I tried to find the light button, and as soon as I found it I counted down. At 1 I turned the light button on for just a second. In that second my eyes searched around for any cameras but only found one. Somewhere in the right corner. The light turned off again and I blindly made me way to the camera. As soon as I found it, I turned it the other way around so it was now filming the wall. I made my way back to the light button again and turned it on.

''Holy crap.'' I whispered to myself as I saw loads of bodies laying on top of each other. They weren't just from animals. They were human.
