I tightened my grip even more around the knife and walked slowly closer. I knew something was off, but I didn't think of the fact that these people were eating other people. The fact that I had been slicing people into pieces for the last few days. I wanted to froze, but instead I looked around. My eyes scrolled over the heads. I recognized not only Gabriella, but also one of the people I hold dearest. After all the times I imagined to see him again, I didn't expect to see my brother like this. Bodyless, eyes clothes and covered in blood. I couldn't cry, I figured he died a long time ago. All I knew was that I had to get out of here. Not just out of the kitchen, out of Camp KIDE. I made my way back to the main Kitchen area and grabbed some more knifes. The light was still out, because I didn't want any guards to see what I was doing. I tried for the door, but of course it didn't work. Then a brilliant plan was formed into my brains.

I locked myself in one of the counters again and fell asleep. I woke up by the sound of the opening of metal doors. I could recognize only one man by the sound of his footsteps. ''Who left the door open?'' He complained and walked to the door which was connected with the secret rooms I had been in. That felt like it was my call. I got out of the counter and hid behind the other side of the door. The light was luckily still off. As soon as the guy came out of the secret room I pointed the knife right between his eyes. ''What the hell is this?'' I asked him and I noticed the guy shat his pants for a second. He laughed mean and didn't answer me, which was for me enough reason to slam with the knife through his head. I didn't worry about taking the knife with me, I just left it in the dead body. As if nothing had happened, I walked out. But now I was carrying some weapons and a lot more information.

I had to make a plan. I didn't want to kill any innocent people, but I did want to kill the Camp KIDE owners. When I arrived at the patio, an alarm went off. ''Shit.'' I whispered to myself and immediately grabbed for my knife. All the people came to the patio, they all rushed out and made a circle around me as soon as they saw I was holding a knife. ''Put that down, Deanne!'' I heard Zoe scream. I looked at all the innocent people. There was no way we all would survive, but I had to try at least. ''This is not what it looks like!'' I screamed to the people around me. The men at the other side of the fence were also listening to what I had to say. ''Deanne, stop it!'' Zoe tried to stop me for my own good, but I kept going. ''They killed Gabriella. I saw her in the kitchen. I saw her head. We ate her! We ate our friends and family who were not good enough to survive!'' I screamed full of fear, but also full of anger. Zoe immediately got silent again, and so did the rest of the group. ''Now, we can either fight these people or keep eating friends and family.'' I yelled to convince everybody. ''We will never win against those people!'' Alfie yelled to me. ''They will come up every minute now and take us all down.'' Someone else added. ''Go to the kitchen, there are loads of knifes. Find weapons. Make your way out of here. We can do it.'' I told the people around me, and they started to agree with me. Not all of them, but most of them. ''Go, go, go!'' I screamed and everybody rushed to the kitchen to find gear. So did Zoe, who was frightened to hell. Joe instead, came to the fence and looked at me. ''You fought several Biters, but humans with guns?'' He didn't sound so sure about this all. ''We have to try. Staying here is worse than dying in a fight.'' I told Joe and handed over one of the knifes I was holding.

Guards were rushing in with a lot of noise. 5 at the boys section, 3 at the girls section. I assumed they thought girls wouldn't be strong, but they were wrong about that. The guards pointed their guns on the group of girls who were in a corner. Surely they thought they had every single girl in that corner but I was still roaming around free. I had to do this smartly, I couldn't fuck this up.

With my great climbing skills, I climbed up the roof. Just when I was on the roof I looked down at the guards who weren't suspecting anything. I closed my bad eyes and concentrated on where to throw the knife. The first knife flies through the air and perfectly hits the head of a guard. He wasn't really wearing any protection which didn't really help for him. He died straight away. The other guards thought someone of the male section must have killed the guard so they didn't really spend any effort on it. I also remembered I had to hit the guards in the head, otherwise they would return as even stronger monsters. The last knife I had on me was for another guard. One eyes closed again, and I constructed the way I wanted to throw the knife. I counted down, and at 0 I threw the knife to the guard. This time the knife hit the man's mouth and sliced his head into two pieces. It might have been the worst thing I had seen so far, but I wasn't aloud to feel bad for him.

Now the last guard was sure something was off. He looked around with his gun and kept the girls in the corner. There were around 25 girls, and I truly hoped Zoe wasn't one of them. With a huge speed I made my way to the safe ground again. All I had to do was sneak up to one of the dead guards, grab a gun and kill the last guard. I wanted to know how the boys were doing, but I had to concentrate.

I tiptoed to the dead guard and softly pulled of the weapon. The other guard didn't notice a thing, but I bet he knew what was about to happen. With one single shot I shot him through the head and he immediately fell backwards. The group of girls immediately rushed through the area. I picked up the two other guns and gave them to the first two girls I saw. The big group of girls disappeared into the building. I heard someone yell. ''Run, Deanne!'' but it was too late. I fell the pain taking over my body. My eyes could scroll through the area to find a guard in the boys section had shoot at me. The bullet hit my leg and it was like a pain in the arse. I wanted to close my eyes so badly, but I had to get up and keep fighting.

We weren't safe. We never were.
