''What for the name KIDE?'' I politely asked the man who was now pushing us forward. A high fence was surrounding the building. We got pushed through the gate and a total of 4 men showed us the way. ''Welcome in Camp KIDE.'' A woman appeared. Even though she looked friendly, I didn't trust her. ''If you decide to stay here you'll have to work so we keep everything going.'' Was the only thing she explained. ''Can we look around before we decide to stay?'' Alfie asked polite as the woman nodded. The four men walked us through the building. They even showed us the working area, for example a kitchen and some sort of clothing factory. It looked pretty nice and the people who were working there were smiling.

''I think we should stay here. It's safe.'' Joe spoke and looked to me to see if I agreed. ''I'm in.'' Alfie already said but I wanted to disagree so badly. Staying on one single place was something I absolutely hated. I wanted to explore, but on the other hand I wanted to keep my new friends alive. ''Alright. We'll stay here for a while.'' I said to one of the men who smiled and nodded. ''We'll bring you to your rooms, then.'' He said. I followed the man and he started a conversation. His name was Nat and that was actually all he said. When we arrived at the room, I looked around to check up on Joe and Alfie but I didn't see them, which made me panic. ''Don't you worry. This is the girl section, your friends are on the other section.'' Nat said and smiled. I nodded and calmed down, a bit disappointed to not be with my friends. ''Goodnight.'' Nat said as soon as I stepped into my room and he left after he closed the door.

The room was small, it had two bunk beds and the smallest closet. I decided to sit down on the empty bed and grabbed for my bag pack. ''Shit.'' I whispered to myself as soon as I realized the people who kidnapped us didn't bring my bag with them. No weapons, no food. I felt a bit weak but tried to trust on Camp KIDE.

The metal door opened, and 3 girls came in. They looked exhausted and I immediately smell blood. The girls looked at me, which made them sad. ''Why did you come here?'' The blonde one freaked out. She came close, which actually scared me, and threw her hands through her hair. ''You just made the worst decision ever.'' She said, but luckily the brunette calmed the blonde down. ''Don't scare her, love.'' She said with her cute voice. Brunette sat down next to me and stared right into my eyes for a couple of seconds. ''I'm Zoe, that is Jessica and that is Gabriella.'' Zoe introduced herself and her roommates. ''Deanne.'' I whispered, a bit shocked by the freak out of Jessica. ''Why are you all exhausted and why did she just freak out on me?'' I asked calmly but frightened. I didn't trust this place from the beginning. The girls didn't respond to my questions. They looked sad and scared, not wanting to talk about it. Zoe gave me a long hug, and whispered something in my ears. ''Cameras everywhere. Whatever you do, don't trust anyone.'' She whispered really softly, so I could barely hear it. I wanted to frown, but didn't want to look suspected so I smiled softly. ''Thanks for, erm...'' I paused and tried to think of something. ''Thanks for welcoming me.'' I fake smiled and Zoe got up from my bed. ''No problem. But we have to be quiet any minute now. We aren't aloud to make any noise after 8 in the evening.'' Zoe said and got into bed. I decided not to ask anything else and got into bed aswell.

Let me just say the bed felt even worse then sleeping on the ground. No wonder why these girls were so exhausted.

''Wake up, Deanne!'' I heard a girly voice say. My eyes opened up and Zoe appeared in my vision. ''We have to get to work now!'' She said in a rush and I noticed she was in the same clothes as yesterday. ''You're going to work in the kitchen so you'll need this. Hurry.'' Jessica threw me a simple outfit and I rushed into it. I casually walked out and followed the people who were wearing the same as me. Far away I noticed Alfie, who was wearing dirty clothes. He didn't see me, he was concentrating on the loads of people who were walking through the halls.

After some corners I found the kitchen. I smiled before I walked in, but that smile immediately disappeared. There were big ass knifes hanging in the air. You could hardly see any spot on the floor without blood. And the smell, it smelled like some Walker was living in here. ''Alright, Deanne. You're new here so I'll explain what your task is. You have to slice the meat into pieces. Simple as that.'' Nat explained me and pointed at the area I was going to work in. Luckily it didn't include that much blood. I was happy with the task, to be honest. Even though I hated the idea of killing poor animals, it wasn't a hard thing to do.

The first bit of meat came in. With the sharp knife I sliced it into 10 pieces and put them onto the fire where they cooked for some minutes. After they were done, I took them out and laid them on plates, ready to be eaten. I repeated this progress for about 10 more times, before an alarm rang. ''Lunch!'' Someone yelled and immediately everyone ran out. I followed the group of people to the outside. At least 50 people were waiting for the food to arrive. I searched for Joe and Alfie, and finally found them in a corner of the patio. ''How are you guys?'' I asked them and gave them a quick hug. I didn't want to see them just once a day, they were my friends now. ''This Camp has surprisingly a lot, and with that I mean a lot, of weapons.'' Alfie said and looked to Joe who agreed. ''At least we have food and we're safe here.'' He said but still I wasn't sure about this whole thing.
