With a massive headache I woke up in the early mornings. Sun was slowly rising as the birds woke up. My left hand made its moves and rested on my forehead where it immediately felt the warmth from my head. I didn't remember a single thing from last night, except that we wanted to do a drinking game. With a silent movement I got out of bed and noticed Joe was sleeping in the same room. He was so quiet and calm, so peaceful. I didn't stop to watch him but I did give him a little smile before I left the room. The door creaked a bit when I opened it. I looked behind me one last time while I stepped out of the door, not knowing someone was right in front of me. Within a second I faced the person I bumped into. Of course it was Zoe. She had a massive smile and immediately pulled me with her downstairs. ''I knew it!'' She wanted to scream, but whispered instead since everybody was still asleep. ''You knew what?'' I asked calmly and followed Zoe to the kitchen so we didn't have to whisper. ''You like my brother! Joe told me!'' She sounded like a little child, blabbing. ''He told you what?'' I asked her, not really getting what she was trying to say. ''After he tucked you in, last night, you told him that you like him!'' I sighed as soon as Zoe finished that sentence. ''I was drunk Zoe, I probably said lots of shit.'' I disagreed and sat down on a counter. ''You were really drunk, Deanne.'' She said as if that would make her thoughts logical. ''No shit Sherlock, maybe that's why I have a massive hangover.'' I replied really dry and sarcastic, but Zoe didn't seem to find it very funny. ''Are you really that dumb, Deanne?'' She kept saying my name as if I'd forget what I was called. ''Get to your point, Jesus.'' I didn't snap, but I did sound a bit irritated. ''You were too drunk to think about what you wanted to say! Drunk people always tell you the truth.'' Zoe yelled with a soft volume. She made me frown like crazy. ''Sounds logical.'' I mumbled and looked through the room. Zoe sat down besides me and giggled. ''Why did Joe tell you?'' I asked as I bit my lip, it was an old habit of me. Whenever I was concentrating or thinking, I was either biting my lips or sticking my thong out. ''Oh, no reason for that.'' Zoe mumbled. She definitely was lying to me, but I still was too sleepy to make a comment about that. ''Alright then.'' And with that, I got up and walked to our living room.

Joe, Alfie and Marcus were already awake and sat in the room. The first thing I noticed, was that Joe looked at me right into my eyes when I walked in. Not just for a second, but until I gave him a little smile. ''We've to discuss some things.'' Marcus said and signed I had to sit down with them. ''We should leave for the headquarters today.'' Marcus introduced his plan and waited for our reactions. ''Are you sure about that? We're safe here and Zoe and Deanne still need recovering.'' Joe reacted as he looked down to my leg which was actually perfectly fine. ''The longer we wait, the more Walkers, Biters or whatever you want to call them, will be. Who knows, they might even propagate themselves.'' Marcus immediately responded, as if he knew Joe would react this way. ''If we just take enough rests during the trip, I'm sure Zoe and I will be perfectly fine.'' I told Joe and nodded to Marcus. ''I can't protect both Zoe and you at the same time...'' Joe spoke to himself and probably thought no one could hear him. Instead we all heard him, and Alfie was the one who reacted. ''We're one group now. We all help each other and leave no one behind, right?'' It wasn't a question, it was more of an encouragement. And he was right, we were one group.

We decided to pack our little bags and make ourselves ready. We had enough food for on our trip to Wiltshire, where-ever that place could be. Tanya and Jim were by each others side 24 hours a day. It was really beautiful to see how strong they were, after all they had been through. I had been with most of these people for just a couple of days, and they felt like close friends. Still, it felt like I didn't know shit about them. What they did, who they were and where they lived before shit went down. Who they lost and what happened as soon as shit started to get mad. I felt like it wasn't the right time to begin about that, I wouldn't like to talk about my dead family either so why would they?

''Are we all ready to go?'' I asked to the group, who was now standing in the living room. Packed and ready to go, ready to find an even safer place. ''I used to be so excited for moving out, but now I think I'm actually gonna miss this place a bit.'' I chuckled in general and smiled to the safe days we had. ''Don't get emotional, it's not like we've lived her for years.'' Marcus laughed and poked me which made me jump. ''I'm going to miss it aswell.'' The often quiet Tanya spoke and looked around to see every little detail. ''I feel safe here.'' She sighed and looked at Jim who wrapped an arm around her. ''No worries, Tan. You'll be safe with me.'' He smiled, but I knew he wasn't sure about what he just had said. ''Alright then.'' I began my sentence and opened the front door to step out. ''Wiltshire, here we come.'' I smiled and silently chuckled about the cool sentence I had just said. Joe understood I was acting like we were in some sort of book that was about to have a cliff hanger and played along.

''And we're ready to fight.''
