Hord Kayleigh laid on her bed, still thinking of what happened at the party. She still remembered how their story began. Hord Kayleigh, who was never in love and was cold, suddenly found herself falling for a certain baker girl. The vanilla scent emitting from Azul's body made her dizzy. From being cold and distant, Hord Kayleigh became warm towards the people she cared about, especially Azul. All the hords and even the satan, knew. They were beyond happy when Hord Kayleigh became a changed person. Little did she know that Azul wasn't what she had thought.

Hord Kayleigh closed her eyes. A tear fell from her eye.

"I really hate you," Hord Kayleigh whispered, "I used to love you so much."

As Hord Kayleigh was sorting out her feelings, she heard a sound. Hord Kayleigh opened her eyes and quickly grabbed the arm of a particular female demon. It was unfortunate that it was too dark for her to identify the assassin. It was close. Can't believe I'm being assassinated. The knife was so close to her eyes. With her quick response, Hord Kayleigh twisted the assassin's arm and threw the knife far away from the assassin's reach. With some of her strength left, she pushed the assassin down. Her eyes widened. The assassin was stunning. She had beautiful round blue eyes and blonde hair, cascading past her shoulders. Even with the assassin's face covered, Hord Kayleigh knew that underneath the mask was a beautiful demon.

Before Hord Kayleigh could interrogate the assassin, her head began to hurt. She winced in pain underneath her breath, to make sure it was unnoticeable. The wine she had drunk earlier must have been kicking it. She swore she'd give Hord Hampher a handful tomorrow. Hord Kayleigh's gaze was drawn back to the assassin. Those blue eyes seemed to have been luring her in. Unknowingly, Kayleigh learned it and gave the assassin a kiss. Even when there's a mask separating the assassin's and her lips, Hord Kayleigh could feel the sensation. Soft.

The assassin's eyes widened. She had never thought that she would not only fail but get kissed by the hord  — not really, if it hadn't been for the mask, they would. The rumors. No wonder her wife divorced her. Just as the assassin was about to break free from Hord Kayliegh's grip.

Hord Kayleigh, who was half drunk, began to blush.

"Why are you making my heart beat," Hord Kayleigh leaned in again and whispered in the ear of the assassin.

The assassin was caught off guard, and used this chance to escape. Shouldn't she be cold? Distant? She pushed the intoxicated hord away and jumped down from the window.

Hord Kayleigh sat there, trying to process what had happened. She got down from her bed and poured herself a glass of water before sobering up. Everything that happened suddenly flashed before her eyes.

"What just happened?" Hord Kayleigh asked herself, blushing up to her ears.

"She's really stunning too," Hord Kayleigh whispered, covering the flushed face with an arm.
