Lilithia laid Satan Asiul on the bed; her tears streamed past her cheeks again. Trying hard not to break down, Liltihia said, "I should have confessed my feelings earlier."

These words pierced through Selene's heart. Had she made the right choice to turn down Hord Kayleigh? If it were Hord Kayleigh who's bedridden, would she say the same thing as Lilithia did. It made her heart very troubled. Alas, after much deliberation in her heart, she pulled Hord Kayleigh's sleeves lightly and said, "Can I stay with you for a few days? I would like to accompany Lilithia to make sure she is okay."

"Wouldn't staying at Satan Asiul's palace be more feasible?" Hord Kayliegh innocently asked, which made Selene sigh.

Can't she get the hint? Selene wanted to say. "You can escort me here then."

"Wou-"

"Don't you want me to stay with you?" Selene glared.

Hord Kayleigh, who finally got the hint, simply nodded while blushing cherry red. Hord Kayleigh soon left to deliver the news to her fellow hords. With their satan unconscious, they would need to be more alert to keep Hell peaceful as it is. And, no word shall be heard outside of these four walls as it might cause chaos.

Lilithia sat beside the unconscious satan as Selene went to summon the imperial doctor. She was no longer crying, but her heart was screaming inside. After all, Lilithia had no tears left to cry. Her eyes were empty as she stared at Satan Asiul. She reached out to touch the hand of her lover. Cold. Lilithia's heart twinged as if being pierced by thousands of needles at once. The stinging didn't leave even after many minutes.

Soon Dr. Felix came in with an optimistic look on her face, "I'm sure she just fainted because she needed a bit of rest." Dr. Felix grabbed the same magical hammer device she had used previously on Lilithia and did the same to the satan.

The hope inside Lilithia completely died when there was no reaction from Satan Asiul's body after Dr. Felix had used it.

"She's a goner."

The room fell silent. There were no records of satans passing away without an heir, but that didn't matter at all to Lilithia because what made her heart ached the most was that the love of her life was now dead. Lilithia refused to believe it, "No she's alive. She can't be-"

Every piece of her brain cells and logic washed away. Lilithia was smiling as she stood up, "Asiul when are you coming back from your vacation? I can't wait for you to return," she said as if the satan was really away.

Dr. Felix and Selene looked at each other. Their hearts fell. Dr. Felix didn't even need to say a word to Selene — the latter already knows.

Hord Kayleigh waltz in, filled with sweat, "Everything's been taken care of. What's the update Dr. Felix?"

Selene walked towards Hord Kayleigh, she welled up in tears as she tried to look at Hord Kayleigh in the eyes, "The satan's dead and-" Selene sobbed as she tried to force out the words from her mouth.

"My lovely Asiul! I wonder when you will come back. You said you'd travel for only five days," Lilithia twirled.

"She's gone insane," Selene choked.

For the first time in forever, Hord Kayleigh shed a few drops of tears apart from when Selene left her. She had not only lost a ruler, but two friends. Hord Kayliegh looked at Selene. If the person she loves decided to leave her, she might need to drown on work again. It's just too much to deal with. Her cold heart might not take it very well, especially when it had melted long ago.

"Will you still stay at my place?" Hord Kayleigh murmured.

Selene creased her forehead. Had this hord not taken a hint? Very well, actions do speak louder than words. Then and there, she inched closer towards the hord. Soon, their lips met one another. It was soft and sweet, very addicting indeed.

The sadness inside Hord Kayleigh's heart temporarily vanished.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Selene asked, with a seductive smirk.

Hord Kayleigh could only nod quickly. A smile formed on her face. At least there was something good that happened today.

"I'll inform Fly about this. Let's keep Asiul here at the moment. If Lilithia were to regain her senses she might want to say goodbye to Asiul after all."

Dr. Felix felt that she shouldn't say more, but keeping false hope might just destroy the three hords as well as Liltihia's friends hears more, "There's a slim chance that she will recover. I think the news was too hard for her heart to accept."

Hord Kayleigh gave Dr. Felix a small smile, "Thank you for your concern, but the three of us have already decided on this. Well, at least for the next two years."

Dr. Felix curtsied and left.

Hord Kayleigh and Selene looked at their dead satan and their friend, who's not in the right mental state, twirling happily.

Hord Kayliegh closed the door and assigned Kerh to be in charge of this room, in hopes that no word would leave these four walls for the next two years.

They both left the palace with their hands intertwined.

Kerh gasped as tears welled down past her cheeks when she heard what had happened. Today's really a fucked up day.
