Satan Asiul paced back and forth, playing with her hands. One because Lilithia was kidnapped, two because her cover was almost discovered. Three, Irahs might also been discovered. Maybe I shouldn't have brought her. She should've just revealed to Shelby that she was the coachman, following them. Maybe then, she would have convinced Shelby to show her the way right away. Satan Asiul stopped. She rubbed her temples. No, the most rational thing to do would be to assemble as a team of knights. She grabbed her sword and secured it on her waist.
"Fly, tell Hylis to send five knights here. We're finding where Lilithia is."
Satan Asiul bit her lip.
"Nevermind. Would you like to come with us, Shelby?"
Shelby, with tears rolling down her cheek, shook her head.
"I think it's better if I don't. I might just get in the way."
"It's going to be okay. Why don't you rest up?"
"I will." She grabbed Satan Asiul's arm in an impulse.
"Let me know right away, can you, Satan Asiul?"
"Of course."
Shelby then immediately let go of Satan Asiul's arm and apologized.
"No. No. It's okay. Rest up, okay?"
Shelby nodded and left right away as she closed the door.
Satan Asiul turned to Fly, "Cancel all my plans for today. Write to them that I won't be able to attend meetings and tea parties!"
Fly nodded and started to type away. He turned to Satan Asiul, "You care for her deeply."
Satan Asiul hesitated for a moment, "She's important to me. Very."
Satan Asiul turned her heels and walked towards the training grounds, practically running. The knights were sparring with Hylis and his vice-captain in command. There were few unfamiliar faces. Some knights from Balerk and Calerk Hordom come to seek training in the Velshier, Alerk Hordorm. Hylis is one of the outstanding knights and mentors, after all. Those who got to be chosen were very lucky. Only a few would be selected every year. The knights of Satan Asiul are Royal knights — one of the most powerful and admired. Royal knights are loved by all; their achievements are marvelous.
Everyone had a surprised look when she entered. They stopped whatever they were doing. Hylis had a massive smile on his face.
"What brings you here, satan?" Dropping his swords and walking towards her.
"Hylis, I need five outstanding knights!"
Hylis and the other knights felt their legs become jelly. They had never seen the satan this angry and anxious.
"Lilithia she- she'd been kidnapped. Once I get my hands on them!" Satan Asiul's eyes were filled with anger.
"Yes, Satan Asiul."
Hylis signaled for the five. There were two young men and three ladies. They stood very uptight, much to what Hylis have always told them. She must have scared these poor knights.
"Alright. Then, we better go to the alley."
Satan Asiul told them to grab hands with each other. Then with a snap of her fingers, the six of them disappeared.
"Captain! They-they-" The new recruit looked at him.
"There's nothing to see here. Back to training!"
"Just when I thought there wouldn't be any more troublesome people."

Six demons were teleported near the forest where the city square is located. Satan Asiul pulled up her hoodie, as did the knights. It was common for travelers to do it. There were not many of them since it's a troublesome occupation with no permanent residence. Most travelers do, however, give up being one whenever they fall in love with the locals. Unlike travelers, merchants are primarily wealthy. They are traveling business demons with permanent residences. Travelers enjoy the luxury to be wherever they want and take side jobs. This was the perfect disguise.
The six of them walked towards the city square. Sure enough, they didn't attract attention from all over the street. It wasn't as crowded as it usually is. Satan murmured. Using her magic, she trailed the scent of Lilithia. They arrived at a particularly dark alley. Satan Asiul clenched her jaws. Nothing from her memories. Could she remember an alley this dark? She better sends Hylis to investigate.
"Her scent led me here," Satan Asiul calmly said.
One knight almost choked. How does she know?
"Do your thing. Track those imbeciles who took my personal maid."
The five knights looked at each other. From that moment, they decided to do their best. Seems like they'd be sent there if not. They shuddered from the mere thought of it. They nodded at each other before two of them entered the alley, followed by Satan Asiul, then the other three. The path emitted a smell like spoiled milk mixed with year-long urine. Satan Asiul had her eyebrows cooked unconsciously. She bit her lip. Her palms were sweating.
"Your Majesty, there seemed to be no trail anywhere. It might have come from above."
Satan Asiul could feel her stomach twisting — her lunch making its way to her esophagus. Satan Asiul bit her cheek and looked up, forcing it down her stomach again. Her scent. Satan Asiul's eyes widened.
"Let's get out of this alley first," Satan Asiul said. Her face looked distorted.
"What the hell was it? It freaking stink there," Satan Asiul covered her nose. The thought of swallowing her barf made her stiff.
"We apologize as part of the Royal Knights. We should have patrolled more."
Satan Asiul fixed her hood. The slimy substance on the sole of her boots was thick. Satan Asiul's nose scrunched her nose. She'd had to throw her favorite boots away. They better find Lilithia as soon as possible and have the knight investigate what happened in this alley. Had the one assigned to clean, forgot? Satan Asiul decided to have a talk with Thayer later.
They exited the city square and back to the forest. She grunted. Heavens! Satan Asiul remembered that she made ten teleportation tools. Now, her mana's draining.
"Buy six horses!" Satan Asiul ordered.
Three knights went running towards the city, trying to look for horses to buy. Satan Asiul's eyes started to flare with anger when the knights came running back, looking blue.
"Fine, I'll inform Fly to send us some!" Satan Asiul murmured, and the letters appeared out of nowhere, flying towards the palace.
The knights saluted. They had failed to serve their satan again. They swore to put their sweat and blood into training harder than ever. Satan Asiul suddenly felt warmer around her.
Hooves of fanged horses galloping could be heard a few meters away. Satan Asiul turned and saw Mazx, the stable boy, leading the horses towards them.
"Thanks, boy."
Satan Asiul jumped up on the fanged horses and motioned for her knights to follow.
"I'll give you a bonus for this," Satan Asiul said before galloping towards the outskirts of Velshier.

Lilithia felt her head aching again. She opened her eyes and saw that she was somewhere deep inside the forest. She could hear several voices — shouting. They were arguing about something. Lilithia felt a sharp pain. She closed her eyes and fell into deep sleep again.
