Lilithia felt her body shaken frantically. She opened her eyes and saw Kerh glaring at her while tapping her feet on the floor. Lilithia got up and looked at the window. The sun hadn't even risen yet. It seemed like she'll have to get used to getting up earlier than she had anticipated. The brightness of the room made her eyes squint.
"How does light here in Hell work?" Lilithia prepared her working clothes.
"It works with the help of mana. Get dressed and meet me at the cafeteria. We always eat breakfast first before working every day," Kerh explained before walking out of the room.
"She can be scary sometimes," a black-haired girl said with a bright, enthusiastic smile.
"I'm Shelby. Nice to meet you, Lilithia," Shelby, the maid whose bed is the nearest to Lilithia said.
After changing, Shelby accompanied Lilithia to the cafeteria. They lined up in a queue, waiting for breakfast. Lilithia learned how different Hell is to what she knew. Unlike ancient history, the maids and butlers here were treated fairly — not like slaves. The dishes were unique too. Her plate consisted of colorful circular objects. At first, Lilithia sat there staring at the purplish and bluish blob. She looked at Shelby, who sat beside her, gobbling up the blob deliciously.
Lilithia sighed. She gave in and tasted the blob. Unexpectedly, it tasted more delicious than she had imagined. If she could elaborate on the taste of the blob, it tasted similar to fried chicken. She continued eating despite the peculiar appearance of the dishes.
"Today's blob is delicious, right? It's their specialty," Shelby informed her.
Lilithia didn't know what to say. It's called a blob. Lilithia had one of her eyebrows upward; she didn't know whether it was a joke or not. She had expected at least a fancier name compared to a blob. It made her wish she could have a chance to cook the meals from Earth. She decided to let that idea slide. It's a thought for another day. She better learn more about Hell before deciding anything.
Kerh went back to Lilithia and began to show her around. Lilithia didn't expect that her job being a maid here in Hell is simpler and easier to accomplish than her previous job on Earth. Is this Hell? My job back on Earth felt more like Hell compared to Hell itself. Lilithia wondered to herself as she continued to wipe the windows alongside Kerh. She spent the whole day with Kerh explaining her work and Lilithia doing those work together with Kerh. It must have been because Lilithia loved keeping her house clean, so when it came to keeping the palace clean, the result was rather satisfying than dreading.

A few days have passed, and Lilithia has become accustomed to her work from tidying up Satan's bed to preparing the meals. Kerh was amused at how Lilithia was a fast learner compared to the others. It seemed that Satan Asiul knew what she was doing. It's as if she was no match compared to the satan.
"I admit defeat," Kerh sighed as she lowered her head.
Satan Asiul, who sat comfortably on her couch, was smiling from ear to ear. Satan Asiul sipped her afternoon tea Kerh prepared, with her ankles crossed. Today was a sunny day to hear Kerh apologize. Kerh was one of the staff that was straightforward with her. Satan Asiul gently placed the teacup down the table.
"You didn't approve of her before, did you? I've always wondered why you were opposed to the idea of her becoming my personal maid?" Satan Asiul, closed her eyes as she awaited Kerh's reply.
Kerh sighed. She would not have opposed Satan Asiul's idea of making Lilithia her personal maid had she known that the latter was skilled.
"You never did appoint a personal maid. I might have also underestimated her," Kerh's voice trailed off the last part.
