Naira: A shy but intelligent girl, Naira is Kartik's childhood friend. She loves spending time with Kartik and is the only one who truly understands him. She is devastated when Kartik moves away and tries to stay in touch with him, but eventually loses contact. She grows up to be a successful doctor, but she always wonders what happened to Kartik.
