Planning

Now you will see how horrible my planning is and how cliche and doesn't-make-sense everything is and how vague it is xD

You will also see where I intended to go with the story before I got bored of it.

So here goes. I'm posting from chapter 16 (the original) because some people might not have read past there...

16 - Home

The Richmonds and the Johnsons return home. The moment she gets back, Jess texts Nina and Steph to tell them she has important news. The next week, they all meet up at Steph's house and she shares the news, telling them about Zack, Jamie and Amelia Richmond too. They get back to school.

17 - School

Everyone goes back to school and Jess finds herself worrying about what people would think about her and Spencer. She is especially worried about Jamie and Vanessa, who she hasn’t seen much of for a while and Jess is worried in case she is plotting something. Things do not go smoothly; Jamie is furious to learn they are together.

18 - Sympathy

When Jamie confronts Jess a second time, this time alone, Jess explains that Spencer told her about Amelia etc. Jess screams at her for hurting Spencer so badly but when Jamie breaks down in tears, they form a truce. Although she knows about Jamie's past, she can't forgive her for tearing her friends away and trying to split her and Zack up.

19 - The new kids in town

Two new characters are introduced; Darius, the boy who slept with Jamie while she was going out with Spencer, and his gorgeous sister Maya. It turns out he has a grudge against Spencer; Darius thinks that Spencer thinks Spencer is really cool and has everything and resents him for it. Maya takes an immediate liking to Jared.

20 - Revenge

When Darius finds out that both Spencer and Jamie go to the same school he is in, and that Spencer has acquired a new girlfriend, his interest perks up. His and Jamie's joint want that they should be split up makes revenge plans quite easy to hatch. Meanwhile, Spencer and Jess are continuing well with their relationship; for his birthday, they spend the whole day together.

21 - Friendship

The new girl quickly befriends Jess etc and she gets to know Jared a bit better. Steph thinks nothing of her sudden interest to him, although she does not know that Jared has taken a fancy to her, too.

22 - Closer

Jess has an encounter with Darius and later sees him talking with Jamie. Darius starts plotting to split Spencer and Jess up to show him that he can't have whatever he wants, which is what he was talking to Jamie about. Jamie POV, and her internal struggles about what to do now. She wants the best for Spencer but she is still in love with him and does want him. She remembers the truce, however, and realizes that she cannot break it. Spencer gets a call from his brother to say that their mum is getting sicker and their dad is finding it hard to cope.

23 - Leaving

Spencer’s dad gets steadily worse and worse and as Eddie can’t go home to be with him because of university, Spencer has to go instead. He reluctantly has to leave school for a while to look after his dad, leaving Jess upset. His POV when he gets home, and when he visits his mum (to make the chapter longer…)

24 - Free Time

Once Spencer has gone, Darius realizes this is the perfect opportunity to somehow split him from Jess. He closely watches her, realizing she does afterschool activities and joins them, starting to talk to her more and more. She doesn’t think he is that bad as he appears friendly and wonders why Spencer doesn’t like him. She decides to keep their acquaintanceship to herself, though.
