I really apologise for this! I had it all planned and everything but I really don't have the motivation anymore :( But hey, at least they got together...

Sorry again :(
.:Recap:.
"So...is this it then?" I dared ask tentatively. "It's just down to Jess now?"
Zack nodded, and I took a deep breath. "I would shake your hand, but there is a slight complication," I was intelligent enough to see he was making a feeble attempt at a joke, so I smiled slightly.
"Acquaintances?"
"Acquaintances," he nodded, and we gave each other a small smile before logging off. I let out a deep breath and smiled. Things were turning out alright after all.
.:Story Start:.
{~Jess POV~}
I was sitting in the living room while Spencer was upstairs on my laptop. My heart was beating uncontrollably and my palms were sweating in fear as I thought of what Zack's reaction might be. I wanted to go up there and see what was happening but I didn't want to ruin it in case it was going well.
I bit my lip, playing with my fingers, staring nervously ahead. My toes were twitching anxiously and I just wished they'd get it over with. I could hear Danny, Eddie and Mr Richmond in the kitchen, talking away merrily. I swallowed anxiously, listening for any signs that Spencer was getting angry.
To pass the time I tried to play some Mario kart. I kept getting distracted but I persevered, needing something to do before I was driven crazy. I'd completed three grand prix by the time the door finally opened.
I paused the game and hurried over to Spencer, who was running a hand through his hair. He only did that when he was stressed, I hoped he was okay. But then he gave me a smile.
"It's all good," he said. "We had a virtual handshake and everything..." I smiled.
"That's good, you two are....kind of getting on,"
He nodded and gave me a hug of relief. Then we went to go see what was brewing for dinner. Danny and Eddie were no longer in the room but Mr Richmond was just dishing up. He smiled at us as we entered and we sat at the table, thanking him as he served. He called the boys down and it took them a while to respond - probably watching football in their room or something.
They came down and we started eating. Everyone seemed to noticed Spencer and I were less stressed out than we had been, and the mood was considerably lighter. We even went out for ice cream afterwards which we hadn't done in a few days.
I reflected grimly that we'd be going back home soon. I really enjoyed it here; the weather, the beaches, the food, the house...plus it held memories between me and Spencer. Also, it signalled the near end to the Summer holidays and I wasn't really looking forward to going back to school.
Nevertheless, I would enjoy what I had left of Spain, which is how I ended up chasing the other three down the beach with my ice cream, laughing and calling them obscenities just because I could. Danny picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, threatening to throw me in the sea so I punched his back and he laughed, dumping me in the sand. I growled and tried to chase him but he was too fast so I got Spencer to, instead.
