Sorry for the wait, been super busy recently. Hope you enjoy :) Onwards!

.:Recap:.

"Sometimes...sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I never met you," he said, and I flicked my gaze to him. "Would I still be with Jamie, would you be with Zack? Would Amelia still be alive? It's all very confusing. I'm very glad I did meet you, obviously, but like I said. I wonder what would have happened if we didn't,"

I tried to think, but it was hard imagining secondary school and sixth form without him. It was like imagining Tom and Jerry speaking. Impossible. I traced my other hand across his bare stomach and he glanced down at it, and then my face, a smirk on his face. I smiled, and let my lips linger on his for a little longer this time.

Nope, life without him really wasn't worth living.

.:Story Start:.

"Spencer," I sang as we began to walk back home, our hands swinging.

"Mm?" he asked with a smile.

"I love you," I said, leaning against his arm.

"I love you, too," he replied, rolling his eyes with a bigger smile.

When we reached the house, Spencer let us in and the first thing I heard was a lot of shouting and cursing and laughing. Then I heard a loud, excited voice speaking very quickly in Spanish, followed by a loud cheer from the living room. Curiously, Spencer and I entered to see the other three sitting on the sofa watching football, Arsenal versus Real Madrid.

Eddie was the first one to notice us in the doorway, our hands intertwined, our hair slightly damp. He raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

"Where have you two been all day?" he asked with a wink, causing my face to heat up and my eyes to avert to the floor, but I never let go of Spencer's hand.

"Leave them alone, Eddie," said Mr Richmond, rolling his eyes while Danny turned to look at us. I shuffled behind Spencer slightly but he led us out of the room again, up to our bedroom. I dried my hair while Spencer read, and we were silent for most of the evening.

At dinner, Danny teasingly asked where Spencer had taken me, to which I replied vaguely, "Out," But they wouldn't leave it alone. They just kept taunting and teasing me, and then Danny suddenly randomly said,

"But what about that other dude? Zorro, Zane, Zoolander..."

"Zorro?" Eddie sputtered out laughing, but my blood ran cold and the small smile on my face disappeared instantly as a very familiar face entered my mind.

I didn't answer my brother. I didn't look at anyone as I stood up and walked out of the kitchen, tears stinging my eyes as I approached the front door, grabbing my flip flops before leaving, knowing I'd have to run so that Spencer didn't catch me up and find me.

My flip flops made odd noises as I ran down the hill, tears streaking down my face. I entered town but ran straight through it, going to the park. I was gasping for air as I reached the wall that separated me from the train track, and I stopped, breathing heavily as I carefully vaulted the wall and stuck close to the edge, doing what Spencer did this morning, rounding the corner to check for trains.

When all was clear, I dashed across the line, ran across the now deserted beach and got to the high wall. I took a deep breath as I looked at it, and started to climb, reflecting that it looked so much easier when Spencer did this. The thought of Spencer brought pain back and once again I thought of Zack's face, hating me for eternity for this betrayal.

My arms and legs were growing weak, already tired from running and now having to climb, too. It was hard to cling on to the rocks and I barely made it to the top. When I did, I sat at the top for a minute to catch my breath before tackling the other side.
