.:Recap:.
No wonder I punched him, I thought grimly.
Then I wondered what Jess would think of my violent actions. Would she be angry? Disappointed? I had no idea. But for now I didn't really care; I was too satisfied that I had punched him in the face.
After all had been cleared up, I saw her again. Our eyes met and she raised an eyebrow at me before walking over.
"You're forgiven for punching Charlie," she said. "Just…don't do it again, OK?"
"Alright," I said, but I knew I probably wouldn't be held to my word. I loved her far too much.
.:Story Start:.
{~Jess POV~}
The moment I got home, I went up to my room and opened my computer up. Then once it was loaded, I went on Skype and looked frantically, relieved when I saw Zack's name on the list. I sent him a request to have a video chat, and he accepted almost immediately.
"Zack!" I exclaimed. He grinned.
"Couldn't get enough of me, eh?" he said with a sly smirk, and I blushed lightly before hurriedly continuing.
"Spencer punched someone out of complete jealousy, and it was actually my cousin, so he had no reason to and-"
As soon as I said this, I realized how stupid I'd been. Spencer had been feeling jealous for no reason and I hadn't even told him that Charlie was my cousin! I was so dumb. I needed to explain, as soon as possible.
"Jess, calm down. Start again. Don't miss out anything," Zack said calmly, his blue eyes regarding me comfortingly. I took a few calming breaths before starting from the beginning, excluding when Spencer and I had our 'moment'. Once I finished, Zack sighed and gave me a small smile, shaking his head.
"Then go and explain it to him! Don't feel so guilty. You can do what you like without having to worry about him punching people, OK?" I sighed with a small smile.
"I guess," I replied.
After that, we talked about life again, Brazil, how our friends were, etc. I loved being able to talk to him so freely, even if he was thousands of miles away. I still missed his warm, tingling touch though and I longed to hug, kiss him so bad.
We fell into a comfortable silence after a while. I just stared at him longingly, my eyes tracing his oh so familiar, handsome features, his delicious, kissable lips. He knew I was checking him out but didn't smirk; no, he was doing exactly the same.
I sighed and leaned back in my seat, closing my eyes, blocking my view from what I wanted so bad but couldn't get. When I opened them again, his eyes were still on me, his expression surely the same, longing one I had.
"I miss you," I whispered, and then those damn tears came again. Zack widened his eyes.
"Jess! Don't cry. I'll be back before you know it," he said, trying to console me, but the tears kept falling.
"Zack," I whispered. He looked so torn, I just wanted to hug him, but I couldn't.
"Jess, please, don't worry! It's only a year. You'll be fine," I shook my head, knowing it wasn't true. "Don't make me run away from home just to give you a hug...and maybe more..." here he winked, and I smiled weakly, but it soon dropped again.
