Some of Spencer's jealousy in this one, which I know you like! A picture of Jess' dress is on the side! Onwards(:

.:Recap:.

A few hours after lunch, I returned to my room and stared out of the window, to see Spencer doing the same. I mouthed to him that he should be resting, but he shrugged. We remained staring at each other, and I didn't want to look away from him, I found myself longing to be standing with him.

I shook my head to clear these thoughts. Just a crush, I reassured myself mentally.

.:Story Start:.

It was Friday 31 July, 8.00am and the day of my parent's second wedding. I was stood in my room, in front of the mirror with the curtains drawn, wearing the bridesmaid dress we had purchased a few days ago. It was pale blue in colour, strapless and long, embroidered with intricate patterns of beads down the torso, and the skirt was pleated and silky. I stared at myself for a few seconds, twirling slightly and admiring myself in the mirror.

I suddenly heard a 'ping' from my computer and I rushed over to it, wondering who had sent me a message over Facebook. Then I realised that it wasn't Facebook, but Skype. I curiously opened it and then froze before a massive smile came over my face.

"Hey, J-" Zack paused as he saw my attire. "Jesus," he murmured. "You look...stunning," he breathed, and I blushed.

"Thank you," I said quietly, and glanced across at my jeans, which I longed to put on.

"So how have you been?" he asked, smiling, and I sighed sadly.

"Not too great. I miss you," I said, understating the obvious. He smiled sadly.

"Me too. Anything interesting happened?"

"Er..." I wondered whether I should tell Zack about Spencer's confession. He would most likely be angry, but, I reflected, there was nothing he could do from a different continent. "Well, on your last day, Spencer said..."

"That he liked you?"

I froze. How had Zack known? I mean, it wasn't the whole truth but he was almost there.

"No, actually, he said he loved me," I said, letting out a breath.

It was Zack's turn to freeze, and then he frowned. He remained quiet and pensive for a few minutes, before he said,

"Well, I should have figured as much. Jess, listen, if you change your mind about him and decide you like him more than me-"

"Zack! I would never!" He grinned at me.

"Well, maybe not. But-

"Zack," I warned, and he leaned back in his seat.

"Anyway," he said, sensibly changing the subject. "Why are you all dressed up?"

"My parents are getting married again today," I said, smiling. He raised an eyebrow.

"Well, many happy returns to them!" he said cheerfully. "

"My dress is actually getting rather uncomfortable," I said.

"So take it off," he said with a casual smirk, licking his lips. I laughed, and stood up, turning around before reaching for my zip. I heard Zack laugh and say, "Are you actually going to take it off?!" and I replied my affirmative before unzipping the dress and letting it fall to my ankles. I was left wearing nothing but knickers, and I heard Zack wolf whistle. I flipped him off behind my back and reached across for my bra. Once I was wearing my underwear, I turned back around and smirked at Zack, who couldn’t get enough of the image of the screen.
