.:Recap:.
"Dibs sharing with Eddie!" roared Danny, diving inside the room on the far side and back of the house. Eddie laughed just as Danny added, "But Spencer, if you try anything on my little sister, I'll kick your arse so hard you won't be able to move for a week," he threatened. My face burned red as Spencer arched an eyebrow at where my brother's voice emanated, and slowly the truth sank in.
I was sharing a room with Spencer Richmond...

{~Spencer POV~}
Dad opened the front door, where Danny was standing, but I looked past him to see Jess, in her beautiful glory, staring into space. I had to tear my gaze away from her as she looked around, and our brothers immediately started talking. I met Jess' eyes briefly before I could take it no longer and followed them to the car.
Jess got in the middle, with me and Eddie either side of her. To my complete horror there was hardly enough room in the back seat so my entire right leg was touching her left one, sending hot sparks leaping up my body, somewhat fixing my broken heart. I leaned against the car door so none of the rest of me touched her, as much as I wanted it to, and stared out of it, sometimes forgetting to breathe as dad started to drive.
My heart raced so fast that I thought it was going to burst out of my chest, and every now and then I had to mentally reprimand myself that I couldn't touch Jess anymore because if I did the consequences would be catastrophic. The drive was long and torturous; I was painfully aware of how close, yet how far away we were.
Sometime along the journey, Danny asked us why we were so quiet. I couldn't answer; if I said anything my voice would shake, thick with unshed tears. Jess lied for us, and although her brother didn't seem to believe it, he didn't say anymore.
We arrived, finally, and the moment dad stopped I unclipped my belt and got out, seeing Jess shoot out after Eddie, obviously uncomfortable. I was able to breathe freely again and I followed everyone into the airport, without taking much note of my surroundings, too busy staring at Jess to really care about anything else.
Jess dropped to walk beside me, obviously not wanting to talk to anyone. I had to look straight ahead of me but glanced to my right occasionally, where she walked. I knew it was unhealthy, but I couldn't help it. I felt I would go insane without seeing her every minute.
The airport was boring. We went through security, then into our gate, where dad did the crossword, Jess, Eddie and Danny played I-Spy and I stared out of the window. After a while Jess asked if anyone wanted to get something from Starbucks. Everyone else declined, but I was thirsty, so I agreed. It was also partially because I wanted to be near her, but I was trying to refuse to admit that.
We went to Starbucks, and stood in the queue. Jess' face lit up as she saw something on display and I found myself wishing she'd smile constantly, because she looked so much more beautiful when she smiled. Then she leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. I took out my money to pay for my coffee and absent-mindedly started flipping the coin between my thumb and finger, rhythmically flicking and catching it.
The queue moved and I nudged Jess, ignoring the spark that sprung up between us. I looked back at the coffee menu, wondering which one to get as I continued to flip my coin. I felt a gaze upon me and was surprised to see Jess hurriedly look at the menu, having just been staring at me. A blush rose to her face and I smiled at how cute she was, although I was confused at her actions. Why had she been staring at me?
