I need to clear mind so, what better a place to do it at then where the water is.
"Colors in me?" I repeat for the 50th time. "The only colors inside of me are red, blue, green, and a sprinkle of pink! Does she want me to dye my insides?" I laugh.
"Haha" I hear. Confused I then turn around and see some dude laughing while looking at me. My smile fades.
"Hey, what's funny and why are you looking at me"? I question now frowning.
"Well since you wanna mind mine, I was laughing at you but that's none of your business". They continue laughing.
"Uh, ok?" I just shrug.
"Maybe she wants you to work on yourself as a whole, as a being. Your more colorful in more ways than one". They explain typing on their phone.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Honey, I don't know how but you definitely found yourself on the other side of the rainbow" They laugh. "It's very obvious." They get up packing their stuff to leave.
"No no, If I think you mean what I think you mean. Absolutely not!" I get rushing away furiously.
They catch up and say "Girl I'm sorry, you're not out? They ask out of breath.
Looking back at them "no need to be out cause I'm not a lesbian."
"Ok, what's your name?"
"Lani, you?" I say back asking.
"Call me D." They say thinking. "Look I'm having a kickback with a few close friends tonight and you should come hang. You down?" They look at their phone then back up to me.
"I'll think about it but put your number in my phone in case I decided to." I hand my phone over.
"You'll be there, text me for the spot location. Nice meeting you lani". They say leaving not bothering for my reply.
"You too."
