“Ash, I have something to tell you.”, Shawn, one of Ashton’s friends says. The tallest among their group members and the one who got so many admirers, he thinks.
“What is it?”
“Well..”, he replies shyly.
“What is it, man? You look annoying like that.”, Ashton teases.
“It’s about Stacey. Is she already had her partner for prom next week?”, he says frankly making Ashton’s face expression changed.
“I don’t know.”, he lies. Actually, she doesn’t have partner yet.
“How can you not know? She’s your friend.”, Shawn says.
“It doesn’t mean I know everything about what she does. Okay, I’ll try asking her.”, he replies and Shawn gives him a nod shyly.
“Eww! You look annoying.”, Ashton says, annoyed.
“What?”, Shawn chuckles as he didn’t do anything that annoyed him.
“I'll just ask her whether she’s already found her partner or not but I can’t help you to ask her about you want to go prom with her. Soorryyy.”
“Oh, man! Why can’t you just help me?”, he scowls.
“That’s your problem.”, he replies with evil laugh and hoping that Shawn will fail to bring her to the prom.
“Fine, if you want it like that. I’ll tell her myself. I don’t need your help.”, tells him confidently.
“Go on.”, Ashton says as he chuckles, he doesn’t not believe in him. Shawn? Want to ask a girl out? He never go out with girls before although he has many secret admirers, he doesn’t even have courage to ask them out. So, it’s kind of funny when he said he wanted to ask Stacey to go to the prom with him.
“Watch me.”, he says and it sounds scary. What if he’s for real? Oh boy! Wait, why should he cares about it?
