Chapter 21

Ashton is staring at his laptop. He looks at Stacey's emails from few months ago. She was informing him about she will be leaving Ireland to Australia. Ashton was in London that time and he forgot his laptop that he used to for checking emails. His phone also in silent mode all the time. Besides, he was busy holidaying with his family. He only checked his phone after back from their trip and found so many missed calls from Stacey. He then went to Stacey's house but no one was there. Few days later, he checked his emails and read Stacey's emails. He was already late. He was planning to tell his feeling towards her again after he back from London but she was already away.

Silly him that he didn't tell her about his feeling earlier and now, here he is, missing a girl named Stacey. He wanted to write emails for her but he doesn't have the courage. Coward!

Ashton: Hi Stacey, what's up? Sorry for not replying your emails before. I was busy that time.

However this time, he got the courage to write an email for her after realizing that if he keeps on being coward, she will never know his feeling. It's better if she knows the truth so he can move on peacefully if she badly reacts to it.

It's already 3 in the evening when he sent the email. She must be sleeping right now. He sighs. His application to enter the college in London had succeeded and he has a month before he enrolls there. He must tell Stacey about it.

Stacey got Ashton's email. She really missed him. It has been months that she's in Australia but she will be home for Christmas soon!

She hadn't checked her emails for so while. After looking at the laptop for a while, she then moves her fingers on the keyboards to reply the email.

Stacey: That's okay. I understand. Gosh Ash! I missed you! Are you missing me too? Is my Bucky still alive? Sorry, just asking. Haa~ But you've promised me that you'll take care of him when I'm not around right? I'm so busy lately and maybe I couldn't check my emails often. Ugh! My life's sucks! There are so many assignments that I have to do.. If I could only turn back time, I don't have to continue my study. I should've sleeping at home or hanging out with you right now! Speaking of home, I will be home for Christmas! I can't wait to see you soon. Argghh! I'm so excited! Ok, I think this all for now. See you soon Ash, make sure to pick me at the airport when I get there! Bye..

After writing all that, she presses the 'send' button. Oh, she really missed him!

Ashton already read Stacey's email. He smiles as he read it. But the saddest thing is she only asked about how is Bucky doing. Seriously? She didn't even ask him that.

Bucky is Stacey's dog and also his. They found it when they were on their way back home from school. Bucky was an abandoned little puppy. It was left in the box at the roadside and seemed hungry. It's rainy day that time. There was a compassion in them when saw the poor puppy then they decided to bring it home.

On their way home, they were arguing to decide who will take care of Bucky but then they chose to take care of it together.

Ashton: Really? I don't know whether I will be there for Christmas or not. I'm going to college in London next month but I hope there's a chance for us to meet because I really miss you too.

He clicks the 'send' button and releases a sigh. This time, he wants to do it right. He will tell her that he loves her. He couldn't bear to keep it anymore and really miss her. What if there's no chance for them to meet? Oh, he could die of missing her.

What if she already met someone else before he confesses his love for her? Oh boy, that's even worse. If it turns to be like that, he will regret it the rest of his life for not taking the chance he got before. Even he tears blood, it's already late but he hopes the nightmare will never happen!
