“Hey! You already make up with Ashton?”, Annie asks. She comes from nowhere and that’s startles Stacey.

“Ah, you startle me. Stop doing that! You’re always like that.”, Stacey scolds her.

“Okay. Sorry. Won’t do that again.”, Annie raise up her hands.

“Good.”

“What’s up with you and Ash? You already make up with him?”, she asks again.

“Sort of.”, Stacey answers shortly.

“When?”, she's questioning with interest.

“A few days ago.”, Stacey seems not interested to talk about it.

“I’m happy for both of you. I don’t have to feel guilty anymore.”, Annie says.

“Why did you say that?”, Stacey frowns.

“Because I’m the reason why your friendship broke.”, she says with guilt.

“No! You’re not! Don’t say that again! I don’t like it!”

“But, it’s okay now that you both already make up.”, she ignores Stacey’s words and her face lights up.

“And don’t say that again!”, Stacey scowls because her words were ignored by Annie.

“Okay, okay.. I won’t.”, Annie responds.

“I love you.”, she says then hugs her.

“I know.”, Annie pats her friend’s back.

“How did you know?”, Stacey asks as she let go of her.

“Everyone has already knows it.”

“What?”, Stacey widen her eyes. Everyone knows?

“Hello, both of you are one of the best students in this school. Of course everyone knows who you both are.”, Annie pushes Stacey’s shoulder softly against hers.

“Correction, not everyone knows me. But Ashton, yes.”

“Make it some then.”, Annie says with grin. Stacey shrugs then she giggles when sees her grinned like that.

“Oh, are you already done with Mrs. Ross task? One last task before we’re out from this school.”, Annie reminds her of the biology task given by their teacher.

“No! I forget it. Thanks to you for reminding me. What about you?”

“You know me. I’ll do it a day before due date.”, she answers jokingly.

“Stop joking around! I know you’re on your way to finish it.”, Stacey replies her in disbelief.

“Duh, that tasks were given just two days ago. We have a week more to hand it.”, Annie says comfortably like that one week is still long. But she doesn’t believe if Annie didn’t even start doing the task because she’s not like that, she’s diligent because she always hands in her school tasks 3 or 2 days before the due date.

“Really?”, Stacey’s face still shows that she doesn’t believe her.

“What?”, Annie frowns.

“You’re not usually like this.”, tells her.

“Can’t I be lazy sometimes? I want to try to be lazy just for this one last time.”, Annie says and Stacey give her a smirk.

“So, it’s like you want to make trouble?”, she asks then Annie nods.

“What kind of trouble?”, she continues asking.

“Like, do this task one day, umm that’s too much. Hmm.”, Annie mumbling and acts like she’s thinking of something. “Oh! Three days!”, she then says loudly.

“What three days?”, Stacey questions with her eyebrows are brought together.

“We’ll do the task three days before the due date.”, Annie answers. Her eyes open wider in surprise.

“Do you wanna die? That’s risky!”

“Wanna join me to get into trouble?”, Annie asks, laughing but Stacey seems to be in doubt.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to join me.”, Annie says.

“Sorry Ann.”, Stacey says with guilt.

“No need to be sorry.”, Annie hugs her to erase her guilty feeling.

“If you change your mind, just tell me and we’ll do it together okay?”

“Okay.”, Annie smiles at her. She’s such a good friend and she’ll always be.
