Stacey puts her books in her locker. When she closes the locker, Shawn is in front of her making her startles and almost jumps by surprise. She rubs her chest.
“Sorry..”, Shawn apologizes as he chuckles. Stacey gives him a nod. She feels awkward with him because she only talks to him once, twice or so. She keeps herself quiet, waiting for him to talk first.
“Umm.. I want to ask you to go to prom.”, he says straightforwardly. Seeing him being shy, Stacey hides her smile. He’s cute.
“Uh, if you have no partner.”, he continues, nervous. That’s the first time he asks a girl out.
“I don’t have partner yet.”, she answers.
“Really? So.. You wanna go with me?”, he asks again. This time, Stacey nods.
“Yes! If that so, then I’ll text you later.”, he says happily.
“You have my number?”
“No. Can I have it?”
“Okay.”, she takes something from her bag then gives it to Shawn.
“Thanks.”
“Welcome. Sorry, I have class. Just text me.”, she says.
“Okay.”, he answers as smiling widely. Ashton never gonna believe it!

“Hey man! Guess what?”, Shawn says to Ashton.
“What?”, he responds but not gives a full attention to him, he still with his lunch.
“I just asked Stacey to prom.”, tells him. Ashton pauses and turns to him.
“So?”, he asks nervously.
“I don’t know. I’ll text her tonight to know the answer.”
“Oh.”, Ashton says in relief and back to his lunch again. He’s hoping that Stacey will reject him. What’s with him actually? Why can’t he let her be with other boys? Was it the kiss that made him this way? That kiss was not his first but it made him being weird.
